When we arrived we were given a room without a working fridge. We had medicines that needed refrigeration. We were moved to another room that seemed OK until we learned that THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. The staff was clueless. ‘Did you let the water run?’ ‘Maybe a lot of people are showering’ (At 10:30 pm?) ‘I’m sorry, there is nothing I can do’ ‘Oh, the plumber is coming at 10 tomorrow to fix the ice machine’ (That’s when I’m checking out). (I went into the lobby rest room and the laundry room and there was no hot water). I believe they were putting guests into rooms knowing that there was no hot water) The mgr, Kayla Schulz, told me that they couldn’t refund or adjust my bill because I booked online. This was a disaster and gives me no reason to stay at a ‘Quality?’ Inn or to use Expedia. The whole thing was outrageous.

Clean & comfortable! The only thing I didn’t like was there was no elevator. Steps are difficult for me. I would stay there again and ask for a ground floor room. Very nice! Bob Evans restaurant in same parking lot. Bonus!

Deceptive practices
The online booking states that this location has a 25 dollar pet fee. That’s excessively high but it was a last minute booking. Once we got here though we found signs saying the pet fee is 35 dollars. The high end hotels usually only charge 20 per night. This place is far from high end. No pool no guest laundry no working ice machine. It hasn’t had any type of renovations in years. What seemed like an ok value turned out to be a rip off with a very high pet fee. If you have pets just avoid this place.

Terrible stay! Will not be returning. Ice machine was broke all 3 nights of stay. Shower drain was clogged all 3 nights. Staff was informed each night of this issue. VERY limited options for breakfast. Friday morning they were out of their limited options. No breakfast. Friday morning i asked for our dirty towels to be removed and fresh towels delivered. I asked at 8am. At 11:30 pm i returned to my room to discover that the soiled towels had been removed but no new towels had been delivered. Went to the front desk to inquire. Uncaring clerk said that all the towels were being bleached and i might be able to get some in the morning. Went to bed unable to dry my hands, wash my face, etc. Spoke to the morning clerk Saturday morning. I hadbeen lied to the night before. The towels had been in the dryer, someone just didn't want to do their job. Again, very disappointing. Do not recommend this hotel!

The person who checked us in ignored us. He was in the middle of checking someone in when we entered the lobby. It was clear we were looking to get assistance. After he finished helping the couple ahead of us he went into an area we couldn't view and it sounded like he was playing online video games. We waited for about a minute and said excuse me and he then responded immediately and checked us in. He did not have very good customer service skills and said maybe 5 words in total with us.

Very unprofessional owners. The bathroom floors were sticky and the “cleaning” items were left in our room in the dresser. Our key cards never worked and it was difficult to find the desk staff to let us one out friends had made these reservations almost a year in advance and the hotel cancels their reservations the day of check in at 430pm leaving them stranded for a big concert in the area. 10/10 do not recommend

Stayed for 4 nights, each morning requested housekeeping. They never cleaned the room any of the days we requested. One of the days they left the door open to the room all day. Luckily nothing was stolen. When we let the front desk know about it he stated it's a house keeping issue not his issue. We also attempted to get towels and the man at the front desk stated the don't have any and once again it is a housekeeping issue not his issue. We had to got to the store to buy towel since the hotel didn't have any. We will not be returning.

The “family” that runs this business is unprofessional. Our key cards never worked, the bathroom was sticky and the cleaning crew left their supplies in our room. Not to mention we had multiple reservations for close to a year at this site, and on the day of check in (in the evening) they called to say our reservation was canceled due to “electrical” issues leaving us without a room for a large concert going on in the area. For the entire weekend. No apologies, no gift card for another place to stay. When you call they do not state the name of the business just answer “hello” which is confusing to the caller. Then when calling to ask about the canceled room we were told “oh my mom is connected to the phone downstairs you have to call back”. What? So called back and no answer. Total trash facility with zero respect for patrons and reservations. Very upset and contacted corporate as well. 10/10 do not recommend.

We booked this hotel over a year ago because of a giant concert in the area. They called my phone at 438pm and left a voicemail stating they canceled our room due to “electrical” issues. Yet our friends booked a room as well and they were not affected. It was total BS and left us stranded by the time we got the message at 11pm. Called the hotel and was told to call back because “her mom was connected to the phone downstairs”. What kind of establishment answers the phone “hello” and doesn’t state what the business is and tells you to hang up and call back so the mom can answer the phone downstairs. We were looking forward to this for a year and this pile of garbage establishment ruined our trip. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Awful.

Don’t book a room here!
Terrible! Room on second floor, No elevator! No handicap access even though there is handicap showers! NO HOT water and was told to just wait 30 to 45 minutes! No towels for second day until we asked and they were old and very thin and rough! Breakfast was non existent when we went down at 10 am. Room stunk! The desk clerks were however helpful and assisted us getting our luggage up the steps

Bad check in
I booked this hotel for the smoking room, at check in i was told they have no smoking rooms. That Hotels.com puts stuff on the web page they don't have, I replied that's false advertising. Well that changed her story to they have them but they didn't clean them today. She would be happy to wait while i called Hotels.com. Why? It's not their fault no one cleaned the rooms you say are available. Then she refused to use my husbands credit card for "incidentals". Finally she did but made him fill out a credit card form. It was the same credit card used to book the room. Check in at this hotel is ridiculous. I do not like them having my husband's credit card on file. Not happy at all with the service here. Not to mention the ice machine is broken! Ugh...

The bathroom smelled so bad we had to keep the door closed the entire time. The floors were dirty and the room smelled stale.

Was clean, and the service was okay depending on who was at the front desk. I would stay here again. I went to get more towels, and the girl at the front desk at the time made me go back to my room and bring down my dirty towels first. I felt like I was bothering her. She never offered to bring them to us. On the other hand, the woman who checked us in and out was fantastic!

It was an older facility but it was very clean and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The juice machine was out of order but the small breakfast area was nice.

Way better than Upper Sandusky Quality Inn. Cleaner. Dislikes: No maid service for second day. Waiting at front desk for someone to show up. Broken ice machine.

It was iver booked and i had to have a king size instead of 2 queens. Breakfast was not done well either. The room was very clean and the front desk lady was on her game to.
