“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“We loved the location of the cabin, nice and private, quiet for relaxing, but also just a few minutes away from all the action . The wrap around porch was amazing, loved sitting out there with our coffee in the morning. We set our corn hole up on the porch and were able to play in the middle of a rain storm. “Wonderful! So much more than we expected. Plenty of activities available at the cabin and through out Door county. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Loved the game room and firepit area. Met the owner once during our stay, very nice gentleman! Did inform us there was a problem with their cell phones but could reach them thru the Log Den (their restaurant) felt guilty not vacuming up or stripping beds before leaving but thats me.( he said it wasn't necessary, they'd take care of...

“The views and cabin itself were GREAT! One of the best places we have stayed that fit everyone comfortably. Weather was nice enough we had a fire outside the first night. This VRBO was the first one we stayed at that had EVERYTHING. Bathroom had shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Kitchen had everything including crock pots (we brought our own), seasonings, blenders etc. We have been to past VRBOs that have bare min pots and pans and nothing extra. “Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. With multiple visits, we feel like “we’re home” when we arrive. Communication is quick between the management and ourselves when needed. I’m now plotting when I can return….happiest holidays to you and yours. ”

“This was our third stay at Roo Retreat for a relaxing winter long weekend. We love the proximity to Coyote Roadhouse and the short distance to the public lake access for ice skating or just walks on the ice. The house has plenty of space for us and our two teenagers to have our own space. We love making meals in the adorable kitchen, playing games in the dining room, and watching movies in the living room with a fire in the fireplace. We will be back. ”

“The house was clean, comfortable and very easy to live out of for several days as we visited Door County towns and state parks. It was perfect for us to stay with our daughter and her family with 2 children(1&2). The dining room, kitchen and living are open concept, which was great for toddler and infant exploring/playing and family togetherness. “My family, including our two young kids and cavapoo, stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and the fun part was the kids looked forward to coming back to the house each night and playing on the beach. “The treehouse served us well during our stay. Centrally located to Egg Harbor, Bailey’s Harbor and Sturgeon Bay.
