“We enjoyed our stay at the gumbo limbo property and would return! Everything is as it is listed. Requested an additional blanket and the host provided this upon arrival. Just far enough to be away from main road, but a quick bike ride to anything on the island. Saw humming birds in the morning and enjoyed quick ocean access.”

“We were looking for a place away from the hustle, bustle of San Pedro…a quiet getaway. We found just that at Dulce Suenos Casitas. The casita was very comfortable, had everything needed to make breakfast (or another meal), great hot water….and the pool was an added plus! Will definitely stay here again if we come to Ambergris Caye!”

“The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.”

Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life.”
