"Great location in best fishing spot on the red river. Nice access to the river via deck, overlook, fire pit,and dock. It could use a good pressure wash and some maintenance but very functional. Inside tight but functional. Host was great with info and even helping me recover an item I left."

"I’ve stayed at this cabin a few times now. It’s in a great location if you want to be close to the Buffalo River. Cell service is spotty, which is really a blessing as I get away from my phone and enjoy reading or sitting on the porch. David is an excellent host!"

"Everything was great the only thing I would say to the host would be to refresh the towels they did not smell good you could tell they had been under the sink for awhile. It also wouldn't hurt to bring your own toilet paper. I did enjoy the amenities and the fact that she didn't send me a whole list of things to do before check out. She was also very quick to reply."

"Great location between Mt View and Blanchard. Quiet and relaxing. Only complaint was that even though we didn’t watch much tv, the buttons on the remote to the satellite don’t work causing a lot of frustration. There’s the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"WOW!!!! Where to start? I'll start with the HOSTS. The Jacksons are simply incredible. Responses are near instant. Very friendly and helpful. Just seem like genuine, good folks. The property!!!!! Just what we were looking for. Very secluded, quiet, and serene. I don't believe I have ever been anywhere as QUIET as this place. I actually think you could hear a pin drop. "my daughters best friend lives in Mtn View so she stayed with her family and my best friend of almost 50 years met me there for some fun at the Folk Festival. The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. Will definitely stay again! 😃"

"Gorgeous and comfortable place for our family and close to Blanchard springs caverns, Sylamore Creek and Mt View. Loved watching the fog roll down the river from the deck and making s’mores by the river. Loft space was great for our 6 and 8 year olds. They also loved the slide from the bottom deck. Bedding was soft and luxurious! Can’t wait to stay here again."
