“The Hayloft is a lovely property. It is very stylishly appointed - an extremely comfortable bed, fab modern bathroom and a small kitchen area for preparing breakfast. It’s very well located for visiting the Suffolk coast. Wickham Market has a a decent sized supermarket for provisions, a really good fish and chip shop and the Bengal Indian Restaurant was one of the best we have eaten at. Debra was very easy to deal with, welcomed us on arrival and then left us to our own devices. We would……

“Great location, extremely convenient to Summerhill and downtown Leiston. 10 minute taxi from Saxmundham train station. Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning. Some rooms are up a steep flight of stakes, and host offered help carrying suitcases upstairs. Mattress was on the bouncier side which you may find uncomfortable if sharing the bed. Host does not replace towels on stays of……

“We were able to gain access to our property alot earlier than stated and was very pleased with the quality of the apartment and the sea view's. All we required, that's food and entertainment was literally out our front door and no more than 100 metres to the left and to the right. Would definitely stay again. Only downside was the British weather.”

“Room was small and a bit dated but a large balcony and we were lucky with the sunshine so we did sit out for a while each day. It would be beautiful in the summer ! That said the hotel is lovely, comfortable with lots of lively places to sit and read. The food is excellent - fantastic meal three courses for 33 pounds and well worth it. We would stay again and Aldeburgh is just lovely !!”

“Overall a good stay. Staff were friendly and efficient . Room was cofortable although the carpet had some threadbare spots. Furniture was very outdated and could do with a refresh. Shower controls were very temperamentle trying to get a consistent temperature. There was not a toilet cleaning brush in the bathroom. The price was reasonable considering these minor faults. ”
