Despicable manners.
On first arrival at the hotel we had to ring the door bell 3 times, even though we weren't checking in late. We were then literally just given our keys and asked if breakfast at 8am was early enough, and it would be served until 10am.We were very impressed with the room and the hotel was nice and quiet. We got up at 8:45am to get down to breakfast for 9:30. We received a phone call at 9:20, in german as they obviously hadn't remembered we were english. When asked to speak english, the lady on the other end of the phone said very rudely and abruptly "breakfast finishes in 5minutes, you come down NOW". We then rushed down stairs to make breakfast, which was all cold with very limited choice. We couldn't enjoy our breakfast what so ever as the lady working walked backwards and forewords huffing and sighing the whole time. After breakfast we asked what time check out was, and were told it was NO later than 10:30, we thought this was really early considering we hadn't even been told. Check out then consisted of waiting for her to finish her cigarette, a receipt thrown at us, then an office door slammed in our faces. This is one of 5 hotels we have stayed at on our travels round europe and it is by a country mile the worst. This isn't a cheap hotel, so why can't they afford manners?
