“Stayed for a couple nights this summer with my teenage daughter and niece. The girls loved it. Looks just like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked. Short drive to downtown, beaches and trails. There were no window coverings in the main living space which I thought was weird at first but then we watched the evening light come through the trees. Beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful. You have your own little nook on the property with trees all around. Perfect for what we needed to explore...

“This cottage was a wonderful way to enjoy the area during the day and retreat to quiet a bungalow at night. We’d catch the sunset out past pudding creek and head back to the warmth and serenity of the cottage. A great place to sip morning coffee, read a book, and listen to music. It is clean and well appointed with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies. The heater is very efficient in warming up too! Spencer was very communicative - checking in and out was a breeze. Location is great, close to ft Bragg and Mendocino. Of note, we felt weird taking a shower or washing dishes because it is plastered everywhere about how bad the drought...

The local Elk grocery & mercantile store clerks were wonderful and full of ideas to fill our time. We took a trip to Mendocino and Fort Bragg along the beautiful coast.
