“I only rated the staff and service low (it is not directly the ONE woman or her service) However, they have check in from 3pm to 2am which is nice but there is only one staff person working from Friday to Sunday. “There were 8 of us that stayed here early November. Loved that we each got our own bed to sleep in, the place was very clean, and located in a great location. We never felt crowded in this cabin. Great place to stay!!!”

“We rented this house for a large family gathering in November and it was GREAT! Lots of room for us to spread out and plenty of bedrooms with multiple beds for each couple/family to have privacy. We really enjoyed having a pool table since that's a family pastime for us, and the large swimming pool was a huge hit for the kids. The living spaces were a bit drafty, probably due to old windows, but the basement and bedrooms were very cozy. We will definitely be rebooking here next year! ”

“This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. ”
