De Tour Village
Enjoyed staying in Gary’s house. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and the eclectic furnishings were nice. We really enjoyed the porch! Just sitting there, watching the ferry go back and forth to Drummond Island and especially the big ships quietly passing by. The sunrise is especially beautiful. It was a relaxing visit.

Perfect!
This property was just what are group needed for our "Drummond Island" weekend! It was within walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and bars. The porch was very comfortable and offered a spectacular view of Lake Huron. It was also very well supplied with the necessities. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again!

A Beautiful View form the Porch to the Water
We had a beautiful view of the St Mary's river and so relaxing watching the freighters go by. DeTour is a gorgeous small town to enjoy peace and relaxation!

Plenty of space. Complimentary wifi. The host has a really nice binder of information introducing you to DeTour and telling you what's around to help you make the best of your stay. Very easy check in/out process and a responsive, great host. Would recommend.

House was perfect equipped with everything you needed. Loved the extra towels. Spacious comfortable and relaxing. Nice getaway. Local stores are very cute. Pubs solid and local ppl very friendly. Fishing was not good while we were there. However there are a lot of spots to explore. Cell Reception is spotty.

I love this clean, older home and all of its character. I love the layout, the beautiful porch view of the sunrise and sunset. The location was perfect for access to the island. The owner was very friendly and we will definitely stay there again next year, if its available.

Visiting a college friend in DeTour Village. Garys house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Check in was very easy, very good communication. The house was close to everything. We had a wonderful time with friends.

Cozy right on the St Mary river.
We loved our time there....cozy with wonderful bedding. The porch and watching the ships pass was a huge plus! Feel bad for owners with the out of place house going up across the street. Does not fit the quaintness of this beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing with us!

Nice home with an amazing front porch.
This house was perfect for our family. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable and the front porch was the best spot to enjoy your morning coffee. We can't wait to come back!

A really comfortable home with really great owners. The only thing to know is there is very limited tv options and there is no air conditioner for warm nights. Overall it’s a great place to stay and an easy Drummond island ferry connection.

Peaceful Tranquility

Lovely!
Exactly as described. Had everything we needed to cook a few breakfasts and a quick dinner. Front porch was amazing. Bathrooms were very clean. I would love to come back and have access to the mother-in-law suite! Plenty of towels and other linens available. Thank you for a lovely stay!
