“It was so lovely to wake up to the harbour view everyday. Cafes, restaurants and convenience store within easy walking distance. An excellent playground nearby that was a hit with our kids every day.”

He generously spent some time getting us acquainted with the boat and pointing us in the direction of the best restaurants within walking distance as well as the free shuttles to get to and from the downtown attractions. We had a great time and if we get back to Boston in the future we will definitely choose this spot!”

“My partner had never been to Boston where I had lived for 10 years, back in the 1980's. The houseboat was a perfect stay as we both love the water and boating. It's cozy, charming, and a delightful experience we'll always remember. Jon was a wonderful host, and we were welcomed by his wife's delicious banana bread! We highly recommend the accommodations.”

“This houseboat has it all!! Great interior setup. Lots of huge windows. Location to die for. Fully stocked kitchen. Awesome upper deck sitting area to watch the sunrise with coffee or sunset before heading to dinner. A bed that i could actually sleep well in... might have been the gentle rocking. Did i mention the incredible location!! Easy walking distance, minutes, to everything from great restuarants, attractions, parks, everything!! And you have to try the breakfast sandwiches at Sunny Girl...

“My husband and I booked this yacht as a fun change from a hotel on our last night in Boston. Jon is a wonderful host and took the time to share tips around the area and his wife had made us delicious muffins on top of several other nice touches. Our boys (ages 9 and 11) thought it was the coolest experience ever. The only bummer is we wish we had more time 😊. We hope to be back and highly recommend!”

“Me and a friend so enjoyed our stay. Rocked to sleep in comfy bed and pull out sofa. Only hiccup is that there are no late check ins. That is stated in other rules.”

“My son and I stayed here on a spring break trip. The location was a 5 min walk from the USS Constitution, a 10 min walk to Bunker Hill and a 20-30 min walk to the North End. However because we were on a boat in a marina there was zero traffic noise and that combined with the rocking motion of the houseboat meant I slept extremely well. Bonus: we were visited on several days by a pair of ducks who would hang out on the patio with us. Got to love a vacation home that comes with pets! Downsides?...

“Our stay on the Little Pearl was wonderful. It was a very quick walk to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill, which put us right on the Freedom Trail. We chose not to rent a car and we were able to get around just fine using public transit and LYFT. There's a Dunkin' and a 7-Eleven a short walk away to grab quick and easy breakfasts to take back to the boat and enjoy on the deck. We did not use the kitchen area at all, so I cannot speak to that.
