Beautiful lake home

Traveled with my husband and daughters (8 and 12) and we all really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to rent jet skis/boats at the nearby watersports spots (about 15 min boat ride away from house, 8 minutes by car) and we used the canoe at the house lots. House had everything we needed including tubes to relax and play in the lake off the dock. Beautiful outdoor setting and views from the house and dock. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Loved ourstay and the host was wonderful!

LOOK NO FURTHER!

I have been to this lake many times and am familiar with the area. Needing something on short notice, this gem was available. I knew exactly where it was, checked out all the photos and read every review..... This place is PERFECT. It is BY FAR the best value in the area. We used the dock and kept the boat we rented there during our stay. We spent HOURS just floating in the lake right off the dock, which is an easy walk, just steps from the house. PERFECT location to just chill and float!! Coffee every morning on the back deck overlooking the lake was the best way to start the day. You are minutes from Publix, shops and restaurants. Angela was amazing and easy to contact (which I only did to tell her how impressed I was with her place), and the house itself is the perfect lakehouse for a quick get away. Already looking forward to the next trip back. If you are considering this place, DO NOT HESITATE.... you wont be disappointed.

Family Vacation

My extended family and I rented a couple of properties on lake oconee for our yearly vacation. We had a great time at the lake and enjoyed our stay at this house! It was clean and had everything we needed. The location on the lake was calm and peaceful.

Rustic, shady, relaxing retreat.

The backyard is full of shade from many magnificent hardwoods. The lake, dock and canoes made us feel as if at a camp retreat. We enjoyed it all. The house was clean and comfortable but felt like we were in a rustic cabin. Our family and friends rented larger and newer homes nearby but after hours hanging out at their homes and yards and pool, we loved returning to our rustic, quiet oasis.

Boaters look no further!

Location- Stunning sunrise’s with extensive water views! This property faces due East which is not only great for sunrises, but also having the sun in the west in the afternoon makes it much cooler on the property. The property is minutes away from grocery stores, pharmacies and wonderful restaurants. However, you would never know you were that close to town based on the property location nestled on a hill surrounded lots of trees and very quiet. The screened in patio even has a canal that runs along the side of it which makes you feel like you’re surrounded by water. Boating - The property is located in the cove off the main thorough fare between two bridges, which reduces a lot of the boat traffic and wake action at the pier. The bridges had an 8 foot clearance, which was plenty for our Deep V 18 foot center console to pass under that we brought with us from the coast. The dock had ample cleats, and we were able to secure our boat in the middle of the slip so any waves did not affect the boat. We didn’t even need to put fenders out. This is a huge benefit as a Boater because it protects your boat from rubbing at the pier. Plenty of deep water to enjoy the dock. Nice open Bay Area for tubing, again with limited boat traffic. The boat landing is literally 1 minutes away. Trailer parking on premises! The Property - as advertised and promised! Thoughtfully provisioned house with extremely comfortable beds and bedding. 3 king beds! Great Host! We’ll be back…

Weekend get away

We had a great time at this property. Outdoor was a huge highlight that included great space, lots of green, and easy water access. The interior was cozy but it was the outdoor space that made this property delightful. Everything was easy and the property owner was great in all pre-stay correspondence!

Overnight Stay

House was clean and as advertised. Owner knew we were arriving late and turned interior and exterior lights on for us. Which was much appreciated as the area is very dark. Can’t say much more about the house as we arrived late and left early each day. House was used primarily for sleeping.

A relaxing escape on the lake

We had such a great time at the Sway House. The canoes are a nice touch. We paddled around the lake for a few hours and took in the beautiful setting. It’s set in a nice quiet cove and was very relaxing and peaceful. The house itself is perfect. All the comfort creatures of home with games to play, comfortable places to sit and read a book, and a fireplace out back. It offered a true escape from our busy lives.

Perfect location

Our family has stayed at this property multiple times and we always enjoy our annual lake trip. The location is so convenient to fish tale marina , restaurants and Publix. We cook all of our meals there and the kitchen is very well stocked with all the necessary items to prepare meals. The dock is great for a boat and jet skis. The neighbors are super nice and always chat with us when we’re outside. Angela ( the owner) is so quick to answer any questions that we had before or during our stay. I highly recommend this home if you are planning a trip to beautiful Lake Oconee

Quiet Spot

Beautiful quiet spot on the lake, the house was well appointed and clean. We enjoyed our stay and using the canoe. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch.

Outstanding stay!

Perfect Lake House for the Family

This was our first time renting a lake house and what an incredible find. The view of the lake was incredible, and the canoes were a wonderful addition. The house itself was just perfect, with three nice sized bedrooms, and the niceties the host included made it so special. It's located so close to shopping and restaurants, and just off the main road so access was wonderful. I'd highly recommend it to any family looking for privacy and a great family retreat!
