Wonderful Retreat

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The location is private and very quiet. We especially loved the large kitchen and master bath. The game room was phenomenal and would be perfect for family/group gatherings of all ages. Mark and Jamie were great with communicating and the check-in/out was a breeze. We look forward to staying again in the future. Thanks for letting us stay at your amazing house!

Wonderful Home Base for Duluth Activities

Beautiful home, well-stocked kitchen and baths, cozy living space, and fun entertainment options. We felt at home immediately and we are already planning our return trip. The open floor plan worked well for our family member who uses mobility aids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful setting. Great hosts. Ultra clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Great location close to hiking to Jay Cooke and good restaurants in Duluth. Nothing but good things to say.

The BEST Place to Stay!!!

This was by far one of the BEST VRBOs we’ve stayed at!! The house is nestled at the end of a quiet road, but has the feel of being set back in the woods. From the beautiful decor to the extreme cleanliness to all of the thoughtful touches in between, you will feel as though you are staying at a house straight from Pinterest! This house is located near Jay Cooke State Park, a must see, as well as, an hour and a half or so drive to Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche State Park and Black Rock Beach. Lastly, check-in and check out was a breeze! You won’t regret staying here!

Beautiful home

This home is AMAZING! Beautifully decorated, clean, updated, and perfect for a family stay. The bonus game room was perfect for the teenagers and we all had plenty of space and bathrooms to be really comfortable. We didn't use the sauna but it was like a picture from a magazine! It was so cute and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect retreat

We had a great visit to Esko! We decided on this property for all the amenities it offered and it did not disappoint! We came up with family friends to watch the UMD basketball team play. We only left to watch games and to go to Pedro's Mexican restaurant which was a tip from the owners. We enjoyed our time relaxing and playing cards. The kids loved the game room. We definitely will book again!

Beautiful!

We had a 15 hour drive into Esko and the minute we walked into the house, all of the stress from the drive instantly melted away. The house was beautiful, homey, safe, and so much fun. Mark and Jamie checked in on us to make sure things were going well, too, and that was incredibly kind. If we’re coming back to the area, we will for sure come back to this wonderful place!

Great location with a perfect home

Trip to Duluth area and a college tour. Location is close enough to downtown (~20 minutes), very close to Jay Cooke State park, 10 minutes to Cloquet for groceries, gas, etc.. The house is a great layout, very comfortable and simply set up well. Great communication with the owners. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Base Camp

In the area for an event and reconnected with college friends. Perfect location for what we needed. Peaceful (even with the nearby rooster) with a welcoming floor plan for my guests and visitors.

Amazing Home for Exploring Northern MN

One of the best VRBO homes we have stayed at. Beautiful, modern home in a quiet, wooded setting. Clean and spacious. The game room was a hit with our family. A great location to explore Jay Cooke State Park, Duluth and the North Shore. The owners did a good job with communication throughout our stay.

Great home away from home

The home was beautiful and very clean! The neighborhood is peaceful with the wooded area. We enjoyed having meals around the big dining room table right off the beautiful kitchen. The sunroom was very nice for reading and enjoying the views outside. The location is great for getting to surrounding state parks and was just off the interstate to get to Duluth which was very convenient. The owners are so kind and care about the stay. We definitely hope to come back and stay again!

Exceeded expectations!!

From the moment we arrived, my children were floored by the beautiful way the house is designed, The game room was not our only attraction there were also card & board games we all played as a game night combined with a movie night, the beautiful "nature-like" yard was a breath of fresh air! In the mornings, it's so beautiful and quiet, I enjoyed those most, the bedrooms were all very spacious, as well as the beautiful walk in closets! My daughter specifically loved the kitchen with the beautiful lighting. It was a beautiful home away from home, we were made to feel like family from day one, and this is something that is very memorable during my time of graduation! Thanks Jaime and Mark!!
