“The room was exactly as pictured with better decor than the expensive Guy Harvey Resort where we stayed the previous night. Jud, the host, was friendly. We arrived on Easter Sunday when everything was closed for dinner. Jud invited us to have hamburgers that he was grilling for his staff which was very nice of him. We spend a day sitting lakeside, me reading, and my husband painting. That day by the lake was just what we needed. Thanks, Jud, for your hospitality.”

“This was a 1-night stop over for us, on the way to Florida. Unfortunately, we only had saltwater poles, or we would have loved to try our luck at fishing the lake. Fish were popping the water everywhere. We really enjoyed watching the gators cruising the lake as well! 1st for us. This was just a simple, no frills campground, but would love to ho back one day. Lodge was clean, and enjoyed sitting on the quiet back deck.”

“I would have given 5 stars, but there was a used bar of soap in the shower that makes you think it wasn't clean. Also, how often are the blankets washed since you have to make the beds back before you leave. Why is there a host fee when guests have to clean everything or be charged an additional fee. I understand not leaving a mess and never would, but for what it costs to stay, with all fees, guest shouldn't feel like or think that the place hasnt been properly cleaned and sanitized between...
