Decent for a 8 hour stop but VERY noisy and could hear the people above going to the bathroom and getting into bed. Shower was wonderful and lots of updates. The flooring was in terrible shape and needs to be replaced and they need to put a security lock on the inside as we had to prop stuff by the door. Parking lot was very tight but the owner was great and very nice and again other than the noise and flooring it was quite nice for a motel.

The hotel is near and adjacent to the river but not directly beside it. The venting fan's noise and smells from the restaurent may be an issue before midnight if your room is close to them. eg. Room 6. But the hotel room was clean, the bed comfortable, the pub has a nice deck looking at the river, the pub food is good, and the staff were pleasant. It is an easy walk to view the river and to Ed's Coffeehouse (local and good.) Furter on are restaurants we did not check out.

I was really impressed with the landscape pf the property. Had an opportunity to enjoy the pool and spa and enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio. The parking is absolutely fantastic and adjacent to a couple dining options.

The Sundial had been our go to hotel in Whistler for many, many years. It is so very unfortunate that what we guess are too many owners over the past years have resulted in absolutely no money being spent to bring the hotel back to where it once was. So disappointed in our stay. So much refurbishment needed to bring the Sundial into this decade. Many hotels in Whistler are doing just that. Resting on one’s laurels - dating back so many years ago - at current prices, is not good enough any longer. The Sundial desperately needs a huge infusion of new money with new ownership.
