“Karen and David have created a wonderful, "Home away from home" with this property. A quiet setting, very clean and well stocked bathroom and kitchen, a soooo comfortable bed, and a nice room to relax and watch t.v. after a long day of hiking. The only down side was having to leave!”

“We loved the property. Our kids had a blast playing outside and we were greeted by many deer during our stay. We would definitely advise having a 4x4 during the winter, we had to use 4x4 multiple times while we were there. The only thing we would have changed would be the darkness of the curtains in the rooms. We were able to sit around the fire pit on the porch and grill while we were there. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to save so much money by cooking. We will definitely be back!”

“I wish it was more clear that you may not be the only people on the property. There is a studio also on the property and it was occupied. We had small kids and that might have factored in to our stay. Also, it has some plumbing issues with the showers that means low pressure and a dangerous mixing valve on one shower. Some rooms get hot and more fans would help. The place is in desperate need of new blinds and curtains; several windows and doors had nothing, even in bedrooms. That's just not...

“We stayed here for the weekend during the Pikes Peak Ascent. The location was perfect for access to the race and anything else we needed. The house was fun and we were just disappointed we didn't have time to enjoy everything (especially the decks) as the race took up most of our time. The house was well stocked and we were very comfortable.”
