“We had been looking forward to our weekly stay in Scotland for almost 3 years. Sadly, the villa did not meet our high expectations. First, the villa was in a nice location in Blairgowrie with a large yard, and a quiet neighborhood. The house has great character but it is old and rustic. There are 10 bedrooms inside the main house and 8 cottages in the courtyard. Ten of them are king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. “My wife and I were the parents of the groom for a large St Andrews Wedding. About 70 Yanks made the trip including family and friends. Mostly we loved the cottage because it was very comfortable, full of character, quiet, with a great location. But also it was easy to accommodate wedding guests stopping by to say hi and share a glass of wine or whisky. The kitchen is terrific. I thought the pretty small fridge might be too small - but it was fine. There is a clothes line, so when it stopped...
