This gorgeous property tucked away on Lake Geneva was a wonderful place to stay with friends. The view of the lake and the cottage itself were perfect. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed along with easy to use appliances. We enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated having the beach towels. The back porch overlooking the lake is a great spot for morning coffee, conversation and we even lucked out with a firework show one night! Check-in/out were seamless. Honorable mention: Mike quickly alerted me that I had left my purse on the porch when we left and was kind enough to keep it secure for me until I could retrieve it. Greatly appreciated! We all agreed that we would all stay at the cottage again. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the Fall.

This is a fantastic property and our vacation experience was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! We will be booking an extended stay at The Cottage on the Lake for next summer very soon. On a scale of "10" -- the property, the vacation experience and the property owner all earn a "15" from us!

Gorgeous View, Beautiful Cottage, Lovely Neighborhood, Close to Galena

I rented this cottage for me and my Mom for an important anniversary, and it did not disappoint! Relaxing on the deck and taking in the view was a highlight. The house was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and felt luxurious. I enjoyed the trails around the neighborhood, and we took advantage of the Stonedrift Spa. It's about 10 minutes into Galena, and we spent time enjoying the shops and eating wonderful food. We almost had a hot air balloon ride, which was also inside the neighborhood, but the weather didn't cooperate. I highly recommend the cottage and we will definitely be back. Oh, and Mike was great to work with and super responsive!

Friends Getaway

Celebrated a 40th Wedding Anniversary and a retirement on our weekend. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch, loving the view and listening to the birds sing. Very relaxing. The house was a perfect size for the 4 of us!! Enjoyed very much!!

30th Anniversary Getaway

I can't say enough good things about The Cottage on Lake Galena. My wife and I have stayed at a number of houses in the Territories over the years and this is one of our favorite. Great views, fireplaces, hot tub, easy check-in and more. We will definitely be returning.

Great property

The property was wonderful. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The amenities were just as described. You could stay and never leave if you wanted. We went out a few times and stayed in a few times and never needed or lacked anything. The drive to town was super quick and easy, even in the dark of night. Would definitely stay here again

My dream cabin

For a winter time retreat, this was perfect! Fireplaces, hot tub, lots of space! It was so quiet at night we had difficulty falling to sleep, but we got use to it. You could hear coyotes at night, and the nighttime stars were incredible. It was just a short run to Galena and all the great restaurants and shopping. LOVED our

Christmas in the Territories.

Wonderful, everything as promised and more, terrific views, updated TVs & living room fireplace, holiday decorations abound, etc. A beautiful property that we can see ourselves coming back to.

Cottage on the Lake

The property and surrounding area is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is supplied with all the is needed. The view is spectacular and the hot tub is wonderful. Great view from the mbr and a comfy king bed. We enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly November evening. We will definitely rebook on a future trip to Galena.

Cozy Lake House Retreat

This is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Thank you so much for hosting us! The view of the lake was just stunning. The house was so cozy. We had such a wonderful weekend. The view of the stars from the hot tub was just magical. Hooe to visit again!

Perfect setting for 25th Anniversary Getaway

What a view! My husband and I will definitely be back and are now considering Galena Lake Territory as a retirement destination. This home is ideal for couples looking to disconnect to reconnect ❤️ As a veteran guest of vacation rentals across the nation (for travel baseball tournaments, multi-generational family reunions, etc) I can verify the check-in and check-out process was super easy. The home is well appointed and had everything you need. Suggestion: put a journal on the desk for those who wish to share/read where people come from and what they enjoyed doing while there.
