A "Suite" Place to Crash

Just 6 miles from the Gettysburg Square. We welcome SCOUTS, FAMILIES/REUNIONS, YOUTH GRPS, or SMALL FAMILIES. The suite--2 bedrms--1 queen bed in smaller bedroom. 4 single beds and a full-sized crib in the larger bedroom. If group is larger, you can use the 4 comfortable queen-sized pull-out sofa beds—hotel quality, in the great room. 2 bathrms/showers. A 340 sq ft kitchen is attached to the suite, seating 12+. Your group may tent and use the bldg and ammenities. Strict $8/person/night over 5 people. Strict NO DRUNKEN PARTIES!!
You have access to the whole building plus the large yards and play equipment. Please stay out of the shed, barn, and cow field. You may walk the trails, woods, etc.
We would like you to communicate your questions or needs. We like to make our guests time at our place as easy as possible.
Please read through this whole thing, especially the captions on the pictures, so you understand what you’re getting. It's a unique space, and one that people have found to be really great, but it’s not your normal house.

Weekend Business Retreat
Our club held it's Annual Business Meeting here and the accommodations were perfect. The Host is friendly and gracious and attended to every detail. "Sleeps 24" might be a stretch but 12 adults were quite comfortable. Just minutes from everything that Gettysburg has to offer, it truly is A 'Suite' Place to Crash!

Such an amazing space!
This was such a great place for our family to crash. There is a foosball table, ping pong table and my kids LOVED staying in the great room of pull out beds. There are 2 cozy bedrooms and a great fun room. My kids wished we had had more time to be there to explore the property and play. It is so well equipped with everything for large groups. We are a family of 8, and listings often say they accommodate 8, but are actually lacking in linens and dishes. This space had plenty of everything!

Spacious Family Stay
Great place for a family stay. The cons are that it has no tub in either bathrooms -showers only-! Has no dishwasher. It only has one private bedroom and the mattress in that room wasn't super comfortable. The kitchen wasn't laid out to what we thought the pictures showed Now for the pros. The property managers communicated well with us and worked well with us in making the place available for us for the dates we needed. It had plenty of space for our family of nine and more. The place was older but clean. Plenty of bedding and towels and wash cloths. Plenty of dishes! 2 bathrooms each had a shower. Had one regular oven and a commercial oven, worked well for cooking 4 pizzas at once. A large stainless steel sink for handwashing dishes.A huge rec room for lounging and lots of room for our children to play indoors since it was a little muddy outside during our stay there. Our children loved the place. A good washer and dryer in the kitchen area. A country setting but very close to town. We would consider this place if we needed a place in the area again. And we would highly recommend any large family group to check out this place.

Cozy
We had a wonderful experience. I have never rented a VRBO and didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised the easiness of check in/check out and by the availability of almost anything you may need or want. They loved how comfortable the beds were. Great location and quiet place rest after a long day.

Great Place for Families and Gathering
Really great spot. Super close to all conveniences (6 minutes from Gettysburg with stores, restaurants, etc), but still quiet and away from everything. Hosts are fantastic. Quick and informative communications. Accommodations are perfectly adequate and met expectations. Loved the farm atmosphere.

Room and plenty to do for the kids.
Family gathering in Gettysburg for Thanksgiving. The kids loved the farm animals and all the space to run and play both indoors and outdoors. Would definitely book again and can easily accommodate larger groups.

Just Magical!
We really enjoyed our stay! We just happened upon this lovely place as we were passing through, and it turned a mundane trip into a visit back to summer camp... so much fun! The dogs and other animals were sweet, the house had every amenity (times 4) and every kind of game possible! There were trails, and Gwen the dog even offered to join on the walks. Thank you so much!!

As it reads in the description, this is a unique space... but quite honestly it was perfect for my friends and I. We were in the area to golf a local course on our way to an extended golf weekend... we couldnt have asked for more. I can see why Scout groups and large families take advatage of the rental, but it was just as perfect for just the 4 of us. The owners are right nextdoor and beyond nice and uber responsive. We are already planning on booking for next years golf outing...

An Amazing Stay for a Group
We rented the property for the boys in our high school field trip group to stay at. It was perfect! The hosts were incredibly responsive with my many questions. Our group of 15 had all the amenities they needed. We spent one evening of our weekend with the entire group (boys and girls) at the property hanging out, playing ball, having a campfire, etc. I can’t say enough about how perfect this location is for a group.

Great stay for groups
I'm a leader of a group of college student leaders and this was the perfect place for our overnight retreat. This was the second time I have stayed here with my team. Beautiful outdoor space and plenty of indoor games and activities too. The kind of place you can bring a group and they have a good time without you needing to plan anything in advance.
