“Super clean and new. Quick stay and easy access to Mammoth Cave.”

“Upon arrival we noticed an odor. I had assummed the property was non smoking but soon found a pack of cigarettes above the microwave. Kelly left us a note stating the dishwasher was broken..not a big deal as we would only be eating in a few times. Housekeeping was lacking a bit. Dishes and utensils in the cabinets had food on them. The dining room table had a sticky residue in a couple spots.The dryer lint trap was so packed the dryer would not dry. We had very little cell service in the area...

“The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you”

“We enjoyed our stay here. The house and surrounding property are both beautiful! We loved the grill and the porch swing. We longed to use the fire pit, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Echoing another reviewer, there are only 4 places to dine indoors and we had almost constant rain, so we couldn’t use the ample outdoor dining spaces for our family of 6. This doesn’t really detract from the property, it’s just something to keep in mind if you have a larger party and the weather is bad. The...

It is in the middle of nowhere so eating out is very limited and grocery stores are far from the location. The host was great about informing us about all of this beforehand so we could prepare and was great about giving us ideas of things to do in the area.
