“I’d give Melin Tregyb 5* for cleanliness and the room was large and airy with a very comfortable double bed. The owners were very quick to respond to emails but it would be comforting for me, as a solo traveller, to have an hour per day when the owners could be guaranteed to be in the building. ”

“Had a lovely time staying here. Different from staying in a hotel. Hot drinks offered to us every time we came in. Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed. Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Thank you both x”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Drovers. The room was well appointed looking over the garden. Breakfast was amazing, the laverbread and cockles,wow! We would of loved to of dined here when it was a restaurant 💖”

“We booked two nights here and then read the reviews, some of which were pretty grim. That was not our experience. It suited our purposes, and we were happy with our stay. This is a golf club that has a few (9?) rooms, which it offers. As such, it is not a hotel so there isn’t a bevy of staff on hand 24/7 like a real hotel might have. Some gripes were: 1) The room wasn’t serviced overnight as the web site says it would be. 2) There was only one chair in the room. 3) Perhaps the room was a……

“We stayed in 'Edward' and it had 2 single beds pushed together, and that was about all that fitted in the room. It was not a double room, nowhere to open cases, no bedside table. Just not enough room for 2 people.We stayed Tuesday night and they did not serve meals on Tuesdays¡”

“Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged……
