Frente al lago en Wallenpaupak con muelle privado. Ideal para reuniones familiares.

Esta casa frente al lago tiene mucho espacio para que los grupos familiares o de amigos se reúnan o tengan un tiempo de descanso. El espacio habitable del nivel principal tiene dos dormitorios, un baño, cocina, sala de estar, gran área de comedor interior y una gran terraza con vista al lago. El nivel inferior tiene un bar y una sala de juegos con una segunda cubierta cubierta igualmente espaciosa. Los niños pueden tener su propio espacio con un área tipo loft con un amplio dormitorio con 2 literas y un baño. Además de la casa principal, hay un apartamento separado de 2 dormitorios con un baño y su propio espacio privado y terraza. Hay una cocina completamente equipada, parrilla de barbacoa y ropa de cama disponibles bajo petición. La unidad no tiene aire central, pero hay algunas unidades de ventana.
Hay un muelle privado para su bote y un lanzamiento comunitario para botes a solo 0. 3 millas más adelante. 2 kayaks y una tabla de paddle están disponibles para su uso. El centro comunitario también cuenta con una piscina, canchas de baloncesto y tenis. Alquiler de botes y motos acuáticas están disponibles en el lago. El muelle se encuentra en una cala protegida frente a la isla de Cairns, que tiene un área de picnic y playa y un nido de águila calva.
Esta es una propiedad de montaña con escalones hasta el muelle. Se puede acceder a la casa principal con solo dos pequeños escalones y una hoguera también en el mismo nivel que el camino de entrada.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Jeanine and Kurt were very responsive to any questions we had. House was perfect for our large group. We enjoyed time on the deck and time on the dock. Some of us even used the kayaks and paddle board. Great private location on the lake to enjoy swimming and see the activity at Cairns Island!

Vacation spot that is family and pet friendly, conducive for large groups, although the property is situated on a steep grade. It has an apartment above the garage that is nicely appointed with two bedrooms and a bathroom, in addition to the main house. Owners were very responsive to any needs, with good communication!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for a larger group of adults. We had 12 and found it very suitable for what we needed. Highlights included the dock/lakeview, amount of beds, kitchen, the pool/ping pong table, the fire pit, and the "toilet bedroom" in the basement. We were also able to rent a boat for tubing at Pocono Action Sports (which was very close to the house) and drive it to the dock. Minor cons would be the long, slow drive through the neighborhood to get to the house (the speed limit is 15), and the very steep/long walk from the house to the dock (though it helped keep us in shape).

Great for a big group

The location of the house directly on the lake and large sleeping capacity make for a great party house. The Apt is particularly appealing. However in general the property, furnishings and bedding are well used and need to be upgraded. The one big surprise was a toilet in tthe middle of one bedroom.

Great place for a large family on the water

We had a large family reunion. It was a great place with plenty of room, water access, kayaks, life jackets, all kitchen and bedroom accommodation, outdoor grill and fire pit, large dining table to accommodate everyone. It was perfect for our family.

Family Celebration of our 50th Anniversary

This was the perfect location with an absolutely beautiful view of Lake Wallenpaupack, access to everything we needed, and lots of opportunities for "adventures and exploring" right on the property. We had a glorious time with our eight grandchildren ranging from 15 months to almost 10 years old. A quote from four of our grandchildren (ages 3 - 5), "We got to live in the woods when we came to the "Coconos" (child speak for Poconos)! There was enough room for everyone and the apartment over the garage was a great help. We rented a boat, were right across from Cairns Island (picnic area and a beach), swam off the dock, appreciated the "No wake" zone in front of the property, did nature focused scavenger hunts, enjoyed the fire pit, shared the deck with a resident squirrel and chipmunk, and were thankful for the two large tables on the porch where we could do activities, do our annual cousin birthday party, have family dinners, and celebrate our 50th anniversary with our entire family! We were so thankful that Jeanine recommended that we bring life jackets for all of the children - they were essential and got lots of use. We were provided with all the information we needed ahead of time and Jeanine was extremely responsive to any questions/details pertinent to our family. We will always remember the treasured memories we have of spending time with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren in a place that was magical, practical, and gloriously beautiful!

A very nice property for large family gatherings

We had a week long stay with fourteen family members and a small dog, it couldn’t have worked out better! The layout gives plenty of space to gather or quiet separation. The quiet dock location was one of the best on the lake!

Friends and Family Lake Getaway

We had a large group of friend and family. The house was very accommodating especially with the two bedroom detached apartment. The deck overlooks the lake was awesome and the location on the lake was wonderful. The fire pit was very nice for evening smores. Definitely going to return.

Perfect for Family Reunion

Wonderful space on a beautiful lake! Plenty of room to spread out! Pool table & ping pong was a bonus. Perfect for a large family! Drive way is tricky! A little difficult to manage with an elderly person or someone with mobility issues! Overall wonderful place!

Family vacation

House was just as described. Plenty of room for our family of 12 to spread out. The apartment was perfect for the teens to have their own space yet still be part of our celebration. The only downside is the steep terrain. This is in the description but should definitely be considered in case you have very young/elderly members in the group. Beautiful view and location is convenient to everything.

Family reunion

Beautiful property. Outside needs some attention, weeds etc but it's a wooded lot with a lot of wildlife to watch. The deer, chipmunks and squirrels come really close. Bald eagles are amazing. The inside was clean and well stocked. The layout functioned perfectly for our large group. Only complaints would be that the mattresses in the apartment are very uncomfortable and the lower level bathroom needs to be enclosed. The owners were great and so easy to deal with. Overall we had a great time!

Relaxation

We stayed here for an extended family trip. Between the main house and the apartment over the garage we had plenty of space (and even a little to spare) for our family of 13 people. The property is in a great location and easy to get to attractions but we really felt like we had lots of privacy. The dock was great with enough room for us to have a couple boats and a bunch of us hanging out there together. The kids enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming in the cove off the dock. The steps up and down from the house are no joke!! We normally planned to stay down there for a few hours at a time to avoid going up them too much. The outdoor deck off the main floor of the house was also very spacious for us to hang out when we weren’t at the water. There is a bald eagle’s nest a couple properties down so we had a chance to see them flying around quite a bit. There were even two hanging out on the roof of our garage to greet us the first day of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

Awesome Property

Great place to stay with friends or family. Tons to do. The property owners have done a very nice job of have everything you really need everywhere you need it. From all the fire places/ heaters on the decks to the fire pit to the lake access. It’s truly a great place to stay. All the amenities you could ever need and more. Saw a bald eagle right off the front deck.

Great house!

We had a great weekend! The house was huge and slept us all comfortably. It was very clean and had all that we needed. Jeanne was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend!
