“Cosy, beautifully equipped cottage. Modern and well furnished in excellent order. Off road parking to rear of property. Excellent communication from owners with information on local amenities within the property. The White House pub serves excellent food and we would recommend this as a place to eat with great views. The property is close to the road and you do notice some commuter traffic noise in the morning if you live in a quiet area. Shops etc are a car trip. Would recommend.”

“What a treat this place is. We had an amazing nights stay only sorry we didn’t book for longer. The den was beautiful well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen accessories were great. The surrounding area was beautiful and meeting and feeding the alpacas was a special experience. “This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for……
