The house was great, but the hot tub there gave me and the group I was with a bacterial infection. The day after we left the rental I had a 103 fever and sores on my body, two doctors confirmed that it was from bacteria in hot tubs. Not fun…

This beautiful house has stunning views of lake chatuge. It’s located in a nice quiet cove on the lake. We enjoyed the home as well as the kayak and paddle boards.

Making memories for a lifetime….

Had a wonderful stay at Sunnyside Shores with my husband and adult children and 3 grandbabies. Would definitely stay again! Beautiful spot on the lake. Comfortable beds! A little tricky finding the house once you turn into the neighborhood but we managed. Had a great time!

Absolutely perfect

This was our fourth year celebrating the 4th of July at Lake Chatuge, with our outdoor group of over 100 people, and by far this house exceeded every expectation and nicer than any previous houses that I’ve rented here. The Property Manager responded quickly and even went out of her way to bring us a new grill, on the 4th, so that we could grill all of the food we had planned on grilling. She was super sweet and I’ll def be returning to this property. The house was gorgeous, it had plenty of room to accommodate all 8 of us adults, it was super clean and the views of the lake and surrounding mountains were just breathtaking!! It was worth the extra money.

Excellent!

Wonderful location! We loved the dock, paddle boards, hottub and fire pit. Kitchen was very well stocked. We had a wonderful trip and we will be back!

Fabulous

Wonderful Home!

Highly recommend. The home was beautiful and clean. The walk was pretty steep to the dock but it was beautifully landscaped. And the view from the deck was amazing!

Stunning views

A beautiful retreat

Our group of ladies really enjoyed staying at this beautiful house. The beds were comfy, and access to the lake was easy. With such a beautiful lake, and seating along the back deck, we enjoyed the water views. We visited the nearby winery and had a fun tiki boat excursion. We give this home our recommendation.

Just what we needed!!

We loved the house and found it to be exactly what we were looking for! I met five of my best friends from high school here and it was perfect. All of us had a comfortable place to sleep and there were plenty of places to sit together inside and outside. Property manager was quick to respond when one of the paddle boards was missing a fin and it was fixed immediately. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipt. Grocery store, Starbucks, and Dunkin donuts close by. The only complaints/suggestions that I heard all week were that the chairs down at the dock need to be replaced. Both had cracks and were breaking. And I heard sometime say that they wished there were lake towels there to use. All that was available were bath towels. To be clear, there were plenty of towels... Just didn't like using bath towels after getting out of the lake. Those are the only negative comments I heard from anyone the whole time. Lovely, cozy place. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful property with an amazing view!

We had a great time at this property while in town for a family gathering. The home was comfortable, clean and inviting with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

A little piece of paradise.

Lovely home with wonderful views. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the fire after a day of hiking. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Super comfy beds.

BFF's getaway

Fantastic view. Very impressive. House could use some more drinking glasses, coffee mugs and wine glasses. And they might consider getting some of the above mentioned glasses in plastic so you can use outside without worrying about breaking them. And they definitely need to speak to the neighbor who has the dog that barks 24/7. Very annoying for the people trying to sleep on that side of the house.

Fantastic relaxing trip to the lake!

Our stay at the Lake Chatuge Lake House was fantastic! The breathtaking lake view and fully stocked kitchen were highlights. We loved the fire-pit and hot tub, and each bedroom facing the lake was a great touch. The afternoon shade on the patio, two paddle boards, and kayak were wonderful additions. The high-quality towels, linens, and cozy seating areas made our family time even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning!
