Sensational Seneca Sunrise

This was our second summer at Seneca Sunrise and once again, no complaints. The owners are nice and responsive. My husband had an issue with the boat lift and it was repaired within hours. The house is central to many wineries, and has everything needed to cook a complete dinner for the family. We love the deck for morning coffee and enjoy reading on the swinging bench on the patio below. The guys love the fishing in the area.

A Gem!!

We had the best stay at Seneca Sunrise. The adorable cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy wineries, breweries, and the amazing lake. The house was very clean and well stocked. We loved chatting with the neighbors & walking a short distance to Miles Winery. We highly recommend this place. Michelle and Dave were very responsive when we needed to reach out to them. If we come back to Seneca, we will definitely rent the place again!!

1st impressions

My husband and I invited his brother and wife to stay with us for a long weekend. They had never spent any time in the Finger Lakes before. This was the perfect place- Beautifully situated on the water, accessible to both Keuka and Cayuga lakes as well as Watkins Glen and Geneva on Seneca lake. The house was so thoughtfully equipped in every detail- linens provided, standard spices, plastic and foil wrap, even water shoes in a variety of sizes! It was the perfect home to make a positive first impression on our family!! Thank you! We definitely hope to come again!! Bruce and Carole

great vacation place and area

This is a great house in a great area. Owner is very responsive and house is clean and right on the lake as they advertised. My families enjoy the kayaks provided with house. We hike and Watkins Glen trail is amazing! There are tons of wineries around here. We did several wine tasting and Bought some bottles! The most amazing thing is we not once but TWICE saw osprey plunge into water to catch a fish....WOW what a sight and we were just siting on the balcony! I highly recommend this place. The only draw back is if you love dining out, there are not whole lot gourmet restaurants around here but that is no problem for us.

End of School Celebration

We truly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The location was perfect, only 20 minutes to Watkins Glen. The house was very clean and very well stocked. Miles winery was a walk away with the best wine in the Finger Lakes. Our grandkids enjoyed fishing and swimming. The deck view is spectacular. The host Michelle was available with any questions that we had. We highly recommend this place for your next get away!

Perfect and Organized!

A group of us stayed here for a friends wedding near by, and it was a perfect spot! Great central location, beyond clean and organized! Communication with the Host was great! Definitely recommend staying with this host!

Great Stay, wonderful host

The house was exactly as described. We had a lovely stay. The house is thoughtfully outfitted with tons of extra seating (if needed). The host was very responive and went above and beyond to help us out. This is a great spot for families with kids. In particular we liked that the sunrise side of the lake leaves you with nice shade on warm evenings. There's a winery walking/paddling distance from the house. Would definitely book again. :-)

We had 4 seniors staying at Seneca Sunrise for a short 4 day vacation. No surprises, it was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. It was very clean and the views from the deck are beautiful. Michelle sent all the information and confirmations quickly. We'd stay there again!

Excellent place for a week away

Property was clean and well represented. Nice location and friendly neighbors. Parking is a little challenging for two cars but worked out fine once we got used to the arrangement. I would likely rent again.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Everything about this vacation rental is perfect! The owner has gone above and beyond to anticipate the needs of renters of all ages. We were 2 grandparents, 2 parents and two little ones, ages 1 and 3, and we were delighted by the thoughtful selection of games, baby equipment, outdoor toys, etc. The home was spotlessly clean, which we so appreciated. The location was perfect for visiting wineries, for hiking, for attending a family event in Geneva. Highly recommended,

Everything on the lake

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is exactly as pictured. Great location right in lake. Very very well stocked home, kitchen etc! Had all that was needed! Used roys marina to rent a boat for the day and reaghans kayaks for SUP and two person canoes- very convenient delivered right to house! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return! PS tobeys donuts are phenomenal!!

Clean and beautiful property

The owners of the property take very good care of the home and the property. They are very responsive if anything comes up, and had answers to any questions we had. Wonderful place!

Seneca Sunrise was just awesome!! Communications with Michelle were easy with a very fast response. The house had wonderful ventilation courtesy of all the windows and fans and then AC on one hot day. The setting was just wonderful and we had a great conversation with the neighbor! Loved the sunrises. Thank you for a wonderful week!!!!!

Great place with lots of amenities

Perfect Seneca Spot

This is our second summer with a week at Seneca Sunrise and again we were delighted with our stay. The house and property are wonderful. It's a great location and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids (and a couple of bunks to spare). The kids loved swimming off the dock and using the kayaks. We even caught a few small fish right off the end of the dock. It's also nice area for a walk with Miles' vineyards nearby. This is by far the best run property we've stayed at on Seneca Lake. Michelle and Dave have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and even are prepared if you've forgotten an item or two. It's also such a help that they provide bottled water. Michelle is quick to respond and provides good communication if you should need to reach them. Thank you for a great stay and we are looking forward to our next trip.

Wonderful lakefront getaway

Seneca Sunrise is a perfect lakefront retreat. The house had everything we needed for two couples, and was in the perfect mid-lake location for wine-touring (not to mention walking distance to Miles vineyards). Michelle made the process of check-in/out smooth. Really enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful place!

We stayed at Seneca Sunrise for the weekend...I wish we had been there longer. Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. Michelle and Dave left the home in pristine condition. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The access to the water and the use of the boat lift made a great weekend perfect. The view was perfect, there were restaurants and bars in close proximity...five minute drive. Wineries all over the place! I cannot recommend this spot more highly!

Girls Getaway

This is one of the cleanest places I have stayed! We were here for a quick girls weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our time. There was an issue with the water, but this was addressed immediately by the homeowner. She was very responsive throughout the entire process. We would definitely consider going back and staying at Seneca Sunrise.
