great vacation place and area
This is a great house in a great area. Owner is very responsive and house is clean and right on the lake as they advertised. My families enjoy the kayaks provided with house. We hike and Watkins Glen trail is amazing! There are tons of wineries around here. We did several wine tasting and Bought some bottles! The most amazing thing is we not once but TWICE saw osprey plunge into water to catch a fish....WOW what a sight and we were just siting on the balcony! I highly recommend this place. The only draw back is if you love dining out, there are not whole lot gourmet restaurants around here but that is no problem for us.

Thank you so much for the positive review. The ospreys are awesome to watch. We also have bald eagles in the area. We have seen one catch a fish. So cool to watch. We hope you will come back and visit again next year.

End of School Celebration
We truly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The location was perfect, only 20 minutes to Watkins Glen. The house was very clean and very well stocked. Miles winery was a walk away with the best wine in the Finger Lakes. Our grandkids enjoyed fishing and swimming. The deck view is spectacular. The host Michelle was available with any questions that we had. We highly recommend this place for your next get away!

Perfect and Organized!
A group of us stayed here for a friends wedding near by, and it was a perfect spot! Great central location, beyond clean and organized! Communication with the Host was great! Definitely recommend staying with this host!

Great Stay, wonderful host
The house was exactly as described. We had a lovely stay. The house is thoughtfully outfitted with tons of extra seating (if needed). The host was very responive and went above and beyond to help us out. This is a great spot for families with kids. In particular we liked that the sunrise side of the lake leaves you with nice shade on warm evenings. There's a winery walking/paddling distance from the house. Would definitely book again. :-)

clean and comfortable
We had 4 seniors staying at Seneca Sunrise for a short 4 day vacation. No surprises, it was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. It was very clean and the views from the deck are beautiful. Michelle sent all the information and confirmations quickly. We'd stay there again!

Excellent place for a week away
Property was clean and well represented. Nice location and friendly neighbors. Parking is a little challenging for two cars but worked out fine once we got used to the arrangement. I would likely rent again.

Wonderful Vacation Home
Everything about this vacation rental is perfect! The owner has gone above and beyond to anticipate the needs of renters of all ages. We were 2 grandparents, 2 parents and two little ones, ages 1 and 3, and we were delighted by the thoughtful selection of games, baby equipment, outdoor toys, etc. The home was spotlessly clean, which we so appreciated. The location was perfect for visiting wineries, for hiking, for attending a family event in Geneva. Highly recommended,

Everything on the lake
We absolutely loved our stay! The house is exactly as pictured. Great location right in lake. Very very well stocked home, kitchen etc! Had all that was needed! Used roys marina to rent a boat for the day and reaghans kayaks for SUP and two person canoes- very convenient delivered right to house! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return! PS tobeys donuts are phenomenal!!

Clean and beautiful property
As a family, we have stayed at several different rental houses throughout the years. Our stay at Seneca Sunrise was perfect. The owners of the property take very good care of the home and the property. They are very responsive if anything comes up, and had answers to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful place!
Seneca Sunrise was just awesome!! Communications with Michelle were easy with a very fast response. The house had wonderful ventilation courtesy of all the windows and fans and then AC on one hot day. The setting was just wonderful and we had a great conversation with the neighbor! Loved the sunrises. Thank you for a wonderful week!!!!!

Great place with lots of amenities
Came to lake for fishing tournament and spend time with family. Very clean and nice place with many amenities. Owners very nice and checked in to see all was well. Friendly neighbors, felt at home. Thanks again!

Perfect Seneca Spot
This is our second summer with a week at Seneca Sunrise and again we were delighted with our stay. The house and property are wonderful. It's a great location and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids (and a couple of bunks to spare). The kids loved swimming off the dock and using the kayaks. We even caught a few small fish right off the end of the dock. It's also nice area for a walk with Miles' vineyards nearby. This is by far the best run property we've stayed at on Seneca Lake. Michelle and Dave have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and even are prepared if you've forgotten an item or two. It's also such a help that they provide bottled water. Michelle is quick to respond and provides good communication if you should need to reach them. Thank you for a great stay and we are looking forward to our next trip.

Wonderful lakefront getaway
Seneca Sunrise is a perfect lakefront retreat. The house had everything we needed for two couples, and was in the perfect mid-lake location for wine-touring (not to mention walking distance to Miles vineyards). Michelle made the process of check-in/out smooth. Really enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful place!
We stayed at Seneca Sunrise for the weekend...I wish we had been there longer. Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. Michelle and Dave left the home in pristine condition. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The access to the water and the use of the boat lift made a great weekend perfect. The view was perfect, there were restaurants and bars in close proximity...five minute drive. Wineries all over the place! I cannot recommend this spot more highly!

Girls Getaway
This is one of the cleanest places I have stayed! We were here for a quick girls weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our time. There was an issue with the water, but this was addressed immediately by the homeowner. She was very responsive throughout the entire process. We would definitely consider going back and staying at Seneca Sunrise.

Seneca Sunrise
What a lovely stay! The house was exceptionally clean and well organized and the lake is right in your backyard. Morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the upper deck or sitting in the porch swing was a delight. The owners were helpful and clearly take pains to make sure you enjoy your stay. The surrounding area is peaceful and serene. Miles Winery is a short walk from the property and many other wineries plus great restaurants in either Penn Yan or Watkins Glen are close by. We rented a pontoon boat one afternoon from Roy’s Marina (about 15 minutes away) and on other days really enjoyed the kayaks, water toys and swimming. Spotted Duck creamery for ice cream in Penn Yan is a must as well as Colonial ice cream in Watkins Glen. Really a wonderful week.

The location was perfect! The most beautiful views of the lake with easy access to kayaking! The owner was so easy to contact and very responsive! Wonderful weekend at Seneca Sunrise

Great Home to stay at!
This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed at this house in the past few years. It was even more beautiful this time than the last. You can tell the owners take pride in keeping the property nice! We went to a local wine festival and visited some local wine shops. At the house, we took turns taking out the two kayaks onto the lake and sat around the beautiful gas fire pit in the yard. The neighbors are very nice. And the view of the lake is beautiful to look at it from either the yard, dock, or upper deck! We once again, had a great time and look forward to renting this home again in the future.

Perfect Lakeside Retreat

Quiet place
wonderful view in the back yard. This house offers everything you need. Good location very quiet. kayaks, fire pit. The pillows weren't great so maybe bring your own. The tv is a little funky. Great house!

Great family holiday
The cottage was very well equipped, great location, Michelle was a terrific host. Loads of activities to do. Kayaks and all the safety equipment. We had a fire outside in the evening. Great layout with the family and kitchen overlooking the lake.

Wonderful cottage - very peaceful !

Immaculate Property & Wonderful Stay
5 Cousins celebrating big birthday's (60 & 65) and big anniversaries (35 & 45 years). The house is up to date with amenities and very clean. Detailed instructions on how to work everything is in every corner of the house and in the Welcome Book. The forethought and organization of everything is magnificent. The owners are very responsive. We had one problem with the water pump but it was quickly repaired, so I'm still rating it a 5-star property. Michelle is a wonderful host and neighbor Ray is a wealth of information about various places around the area. If we went again, we'd stay here again.

Our little gem on Seneca Lake!
This was our second year staying at Seneca Sunrise. Once you find a place where you feel like it's your own home away from home, you'll be back for sure. Communication from the owner is exceptional. Even with something totally out of their control, like a neighborhood power outage, they were right on top of it! I can't say enough about how great Seneca Sunrise is.

It was as if we were in our own home
Our stay was a wonderful experience. Everything you could want was available. Forget your tooth brush? They had extras. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything - just bring your own food and enjoy. They had games for the kids, lifejackets for all, plenty of chairs for outside. The deck was a great place to sit and enjoy. Safe for even our 2 year old grandson. The fire ring was very enjoyable in the evenings. The kayaks were very nice. The grill was great to have. The place was very clean and well kept. Definitely recommended - and we would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect balance of activities and relaxation
We enjoyed our stay here. The views were beautiful and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied. We especially loved playing in the lake with the kayaks and other water toys that were provided. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of games to play in the evenings. The property is also an easy drive to Watkins Glenn to see beautiful waterfalls, as well as Palmyra to explore the local history.

Instant Comfort as Soon as You Walk In.
This was one of the cleanest and most comfortable homes we ever stayed in. These owners really want their renters to enjoy their home. As stated, the home was so clean and accommodating. They provide many extras, such as: kayaks, life vests, water toys, extra chairs, games, fishing poles, even many different sizes of water shoes available to use. Their welcome book provides you with all the information for the house and the surrounding area that you could possibly need, and it is put together beautifully. There is a nice size flat screen tv with Netflix in the living room with very comfortable furniture to relax on. The Kitchen is fully equipped. The bathrooms and bedrooms have linens and paper products and even soap for the renter's use. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay on Seneca Lake, you will not be disappointed. These owners really care and it shows!

Seneca Sunrise made for a perfect weekend getaway!
Our group (8 woman) spent a spring weekend at Seneca Sunrise, and could not have asked for better accommodations! The cottage was VERY clean, and well stocked with everything you made need for a weekend on the lake or in the vineyards. They thought of everything - from extra toiletries to water shoes! The cottage is updated and the view is beautiful! There is a great winery just a short walk away, and the cottage is close to many great vineyards. Michele was available via phone/text during our stay, and was very helpful/friendly in all communications. We highly recommend Seneca Sunrise for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Beautiful lakefront house!
Seneca Sunrise is the perfect lake house rental. The house is right on the water and great for getting away from the City. Michelle is a fantastic host and has thought of everything — linens, kitchen goods, water toys, and everything else you could need. House is right in the middle of the Seneca wine trail, and a perfect base for exploring the Finger Lakes region. Would definitely book again!

Very clean,well kept place. Great neighbors!
We spent our days exploring with wine trail and our evenings at the cottage. We enjoyed the kitchen amenities and sitting by the campfire at night. We felt at home with the comforts provided. I am hoping to rent again on our next trip to the Finger Lakes.

Perfect Cottage on Seneca Lake
We loved this cottage. Michelle thought of every thing . Beach toys Kayaks. And a great central location if you want to shoot into Pen Yan or Geneva. Our favorite thing to do was picking Blue Berries just up the road at the Serendipity Blue Berry Farm. We were also only 3 miles from the Kueka Outlet trail , one of the best kept secrets in the area ,for hiking, running or riding your mountain bike through a wonderful gorge with all the historic Mills. Also a great place to go birding.

Peaceful location with amazing views. Sunrise and Sunsets over the lake
This "cottage" is a house on the lake with all the comforts of home. Speedy WIFI, great views. Large dock with a boat lift makes relaxing on lake for the week. Fish off the dock and guaranteed to catch something. Swimming with ez access from the green lawn. Loved having use of the kayaks to play in the water. They have literally thought of everything from a selection of fishing poles to soft towels. Very easy accessible all your fiends can find you and have a place to park. Very large living areas for even multiliple familes to enjoy. 2 outdoor deck/patio spaces with plenty of seating. They have thought of everything including the blender. Winery within walking distance. Made several trips, yes it's that good. Book today and enjoy your stay. We will be back next summer.

A wonderful lakefront cottage with all the ammenities of home.
Seneca Sunrise Cottage is a true gem. We've stayed at several rentals over the years. This one has to be the best yet. The house was impeccably clean. Everything worked as it should. Sufficient amount of linens for 8 were provided. Even a water cooler and jugs were provided. There were too many ammenities to mention! We very much enjoy evening campfires and when we inquired about it to the owners they added one to the outdoor ammenities. On the rainy days we ventured out to the nearby attractions, wineries and other lakes. Seneca Sunrise is in a less busy section of the lake and is surrounded by several year round homes. The water is clear and generally calm. Its very peaceful. The neighbors were very friendly. We will definitely be returning to Seneca Sunrise next year.

Great Family Oriented Cottage on the Lake
We had such a great time visiting with family in the area. The cottage had everything we needed for our three girls and the adults. Everything was clean and recently updated. Mornings on the balcony over looking the sunrise over the lake were spectacular. The kayaks were great to have as well. We look forward to coming back again!
