This cottage was far more than we expected. Jamie was super responsive and the home was spotless and greeted us in the driveway with beautiful flowers!! The home is fully stocked. Literally, everything needed for the kitchen, laundry, fire pit, BBQ, toiletries, bedding and clothes storage and hangers. Cleaning supplies, washer and dryer….everything! Beach towels and beach blanket, water bottles, cooler and ice packs. Bear spray, bug spray, sunscreen, hairdryer, hair ties, lotion, chapstick, women and men hygiene products. We have absolutely NO complaints. Jamie’s tap water is the coldest tap water we’ve experienced and refreshing. Super Foods grocery is about 15 mins away with a greater selection of groceries but just behind the home is a smaller market for a quick run/walk, a gas station with the cheapest gas near west glacier, wine/ liquor store. The Huckleberry Patch and their pie is oh so tasty! Just 10mins headed toward west glacier entrance and there are water sports and a horseback riding center, zip lines, and fun zone with go-carts, water bumper boats, putt-putt and maze ( the maze is a must if you’re a competitive family) . Wild River was the best experience for whitewater rafting. Wet suits, shoes and helmets are provided with the option to purchase your trip’s pictures. Want warmer water to swim or for a boat rental with or without tubing; head to Flathead lake. Unfortunately, our restaurant recommendations are slim. We love to cook and pack sandwiches for the long day ride and hikes. However, the one we did eat at: Back Slope brewery: Burgers and beer are great! About 15 mins toward Colombia Falls. Genesis Kitchen if you like olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They have a tasting room and pairing recommendations. Also, makes a great gift set and they will ship for you. We will certainly be back and look forward to staying at Jamie’s cottage again! GNP is so, so gorgeous. We’ve created so many memories and hope you do, too! Again, thank you Jamie and every single GNP employee we encountered. Everyone was kind and served us with a smile!
