From the thoughtful decor and furniture to the selection of books for children and their parents, we felt welcomed. I was able to cook dinner with all the necessary pots, pans and utensils. We are glad that we tried this option of a holiday home during our 2 weeks of traveling.”

Our stay was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Sean was a wonderfully welcoming host. Highly recommend spending a couple of hours in the BBQ hut as well. “We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do.”
