Secluded spot but just minutes from town. Views were spectacular of Tahquitz Peak. Main room great, kitchen had everything you would need. And the deck was spectacular. Wraps around the whole front of the building. Totally fenced in so no need to worry about your dog wondering around. Lots of stairs though. Okay for us but our Bulldog had problems. Also older people with health issues might find it difficult. The Nature Center is left on 243 maybe a mile away. Wonderful hikes and lots of info in the Nature Center building. We love Idyllwild. Been coming for over 40 years.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was very clean and presented well. The kitchen was very clean, which was a plus for me. The Jacuzzi bathtub was fun and worked like a charm. The only drawback with this place was the stairs. They are very steep! However, when you get up into the cabin, it feels like you’re in a treehouse. It was very beautiful.
The views are endless.

Outstanding place to make memories. We stayed up late to see the stars, play board games and spend quality time together. Short drive into town for delicious dinner, early morning coffee and listening to live music.

Peaceful home with amazing views

We were so lucky to enjoy this beautiful home just after fresh snow which made it extra magical. There are so many things we loved about our stay. Very clean, very comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking. The jacuzzi tub was so nice and felt luxurious. I would love to stay here again for a longer trip.

A Beautiful Idyllwild Retreat

This cozy home in the woods of Idyllwild was the perfect escape from the daily grind! Nestled in a peaceful setting, it offered a gorgeous view of the mountains from the spacious porch, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The in-home jacuzzi was a luxurious touch, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. Just a short drive to the town center and nearby trails, the location was ideal for convenience and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a serene, beautiful setting!

Magical respite and retreat!

Enjoyed my husband’s birthday in this quaint, quiet spot! Fantastic places to explore and shop, but also the peacefulness of being close to town without being in the mix if you don’t want to! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Great mountain house

I picked the house for the mountain view. Everything was great. Even saw deer behind the fence in the back. House was cozy, comfortable, quiet, beautiful scenery and close enough to town. Very clean. Management very responsive. Bring your own coffee fyi.

OUTSTANDING BEAUTY AND COMFORT

Spotless home. Gorgeous views. Everything we needed and more. We even saw a buck in the yard. We watched Squirrels and beautiful Blue Jays. Jacuzzi Tub was awesome. We really couldn’t have been more pleased.

LOCATION, location, location!!

Very comfortable, quiet and private. You could never get tired of the view. The sound of the breeze whispering through the pines was very soothing. It was an easy distance from town. We offered a couple of maintenence issues when we checked out, and felt confident they would be addressed before the next vacationers. We hope to be back soon!

Quiet retreat

We were looking to escape the noise of local fireworks and found this to be a lovely and quiet place to stay with great amenities. Close to town, yet far enough away to avoid the commotion of town. Don’t trust your GPS to find it, though. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the town ambiance.

Great Get away

This was our first time to Idyllwild and we had a great experience. The cabin was spacious and had a really nice view on the deck. It was close to town and had everything we needed. Will def be back

Our experience

The cabin was comfortable and clean with nice views . The annoyances that we encountered were two. First, if you want to do things off the mountain like visit Palm Springs/Dessert, etc. the mountain road requires very focused attention as it has more hairpin turns and curves than any mountain road I have driven. Secondly, the cabin driveway area is hilly and small making it did difficult to maneuver a larger car. If you come here when it snows, the road to the house and driveway would most probably be treacherous.

Stood here 1 year ago and glad to stay again. 4 night stay thru New Years. Cozy A-Frame, stocked kitchen, new flooring, warm beds, scenic views. We were lucky to be there during snowfall about 6 inches in 2 days. Stocked with necessities. Wish they had a grill and outdoor patio table. Was making a lasagne dish, but no baking dish, so made stovetop version instead. driveway is steep, caution during snow on top driveway. Lower pull through driveway easier access during snow.
