“The room was extremely clean. The bed is comfortable. We didn't cook in the room because we were only there 2 nights. We did notice the skillet needs scrubbing. We would suggest having a small table with 2 chairs instead of the desk with 1 chair. We didn't use the TV. We don't have streaming apps. Suggest having a few local channels for news and weather. The washer and dryer are a big plus. They are noisy and may need some maintenance. The belts are squealing.”

“Very quiet rural location, but not hard to find. GPS took us right to the gate. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable. Attractively decorated. Shower worked well. Good value compared to hotels in the area. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Scurlock Farm, The Palette Pad is perfect for one couple. Very comfortable and peaceful. Sheron delivered delicious, hot, homemade blueberry muffins at 9:00 our first morning there. The location is very convenient to Georgetown, but far enough away to be quiet and very relaxed. An easy walk down to San Gabriel River if you want to fish or explore. Highly recommend.”

“We loved the location and the view was fabulous. We were in town for our daughter's wedding and were so busy that we didn't have very much time to enjoy it. The beds were comfy and the massage chair was definitely a bonus.”
