"The hotel was very clean and staff was fabulous! Checking in was very smoth and the breakfast was nice! Even walkable to the square!"

"I had one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever dealt with, and it involved both this hotel and Expedia. Within 20 minutes of checking in, I began having an asthma attack due to the hotel’s pet-friendly environment. This was not mild discomfort it was serious enough that I had to leave immediately and seek care at urgent care. Before leaving, I informed the front desk Jonita that I physically could not stay due to a medical issue. At that time, Letoya Abram’s agreed to a full refund and specifically instructed me to go through Expedia, stating they would approve it on their end. I returned the keys right away and left the property I did not stay the night, use the room, or occupy it beyond those initial minutes. Now, after the fact, they are denying the refund entirely, despite what was clearly communicated to me in person. This is where the issue goes from unfortunate to unacceptable: • A health-related emergency was dismissed • A verbal agreement for a refund was not honored • Expedia has not resolved the situation despite being told the hotel approved it If you have pet allergies or asthma, this property is absolutely not safe. More importantly, if something goes wrong, do not rely on their word or Expedia’s support to make it right."

"Place was pet friendly and coincidentally my little dogs found a piece of pizza underneath/around the bed that had not been cleaned. When we got there there were people smoking weed outside their room but they weren't loud and apologized. We were missing an ironing board and an iron and hair dryer. The value is pretty good though. "

"Traveling throughout the state of Texas and this was a great spot because it was close to a lot of attractions and a good rate. Great customer service and very quiet area. No noise in the hallways. And they had a really nice gym. Also a printer and computer for your needs and snacks as well. Plus a laundry room."

"We had a great time staying at The Pearl! The location was fantastic- we were able to walk to the square in less than 5 minutes. The house was ADORABLE. The decor was functional and beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. We will be back! "
