“The unit was completely different than the pictures. There was almost no furniture. No wifi. No towels. It was a completely empty unit. It was dirty, the floor was covered with ants and the kitchen had some strange red liquid all over it, so we did not want to stay there for health and safety reasons (plus missing advertised amenities and furniture). We had to stay somewhere else. Tried contacting the host several times, no response. Vrbo won't refund us either, so now we paid for a listing that……

“The home was very clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Easy check-in and check-out process. Very convenient when shopping for groceries, etc. as the stores are not far from the location. I did have to go and buy repellent for ants, as they were pretty bad on the back patio area and in the bathroom in the master bedroom. So needless to say, the children weren’t able to go outside. I know ants are hard to control in warm climates so I didn’t make a big deal out of it, just tried to make the……

“We enjoyed the BBQ pit and how close the room is to the Waterpark. We also liked the option to order food and drinks to be delivered from the Waterpark. The light in the kitchen flashes like a strobe light so we used a lamp for light in the kitchen. We will definitely stay again.”

“Fantastic Lake Travis getaway! The property does not have a direct view of lake Travis but just a short walk to the shoreline. The property sets within the lakes tree line giving a nice breeze when enjoying the large elevated deck. The property if gorgeous, new amenities from top to bottom providing the comforts of home while on vacation. The living room/Dinning room and Kitchen are roomy, comfortable and welcoming.The guest bedroom provides a comfortable queen bed with comfortable bedding. ……

“The property was conveniently located and easy to find. It served its purpose which was to be a dog friendly place to stay for the weekend. Luckily I was not planning to host anyone or even be at the property much myself. Upon arrival, I was informed that the shower did not work in the primary bath. I don't like baths, definitely not in vacation homes anyway so very inconvenient to have to use the hall bathroom for a shower. It should have been repaired before my arrival. The furniture……

“Upon entry to the property I was surprised as it appeared quite quaint. The driveway leading up to it left much to be desired however as you need to backout of steep narrow entry onto the road. It is high up in the woods, so this may have been the problem that lead me to allergy and breathing issues. As I was unloading my car, my friend was trying to hook up the wifii, it never came up even after repeated communication and attempts. Breathing became difficult and the house was a bit musty so……

“The host was good with timely responses. However, no one other than those that were on the list could be in the VRBO. When we book these places and go out of town for a visit, it is our intent to have people over to play cards, share a meal or even utilize the amenities that the VRBO has advertised (i.e. pool table). We also thought this would be a very nice place; unfortunately, there were slats missing and/or broken on most of the blinds which compromised privacy, not enough chairs, stained……
