I liked that this hotel had an option to have a sofa sleeper. Being a family of 5 it can be hard to find a room to fit us all. The only thing is, when we opened the sofa sleeper there were chips under the cushions. The breakfast was a nice amenity. We had a lot of people eating when we went down for breakfast. They seemed to be keeping up with the demand on the food. Wish they offered hot chocolate(kids) and French Vanilla creamer for the coffee.

Everything was in great working order. Very kind staff and clean property but we had a broken toilet in our room the entire time we were there and had to fill up our rooms ice bucket just to be able to flush the toilet. It was only our room so not much of an issue and it worked out because we were barely in our room.

Our room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. It is an older building so some things are not perfect but you only there to sleep and relax. Front desk worker was nice and helpful.

Great location right off the highway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for an inexpensive stay, with free breakfast and a pool, while visiting Holiday World, this is the place. It’s sorting noting the hotel is EST, and Holiday World is CST.

The gentleman who checked us in was efficient and friendly. The sheets on the bed were clean. The breakfast was acceptable. The air conditioning worked fine. Those were the only positive things about this property. The room smelled like mold, with air freshener as an attempt to cover it up. The soda machine did not work for us to get a bottle of water. The only staff member we saw in the morning was the front desk person, who, apparently, was also responsible for monitoring the breakfast. Tables were not cleaned off, food items were not re-stocked, and no one was there to greet guests and answer questions or provide anything they needed. As bad as it was, the room rate should have been $75/night, not the amount we paid. I understand that some hotel buildings are very old, and new chains purchase them and try to renovate, but there comes a point when another caulking attempt and coat of paint can no longer fix or cover up problems. THIS BUILDING NEEDS TO BE TORN DOWN!!!!

Hotel is adequate. Beds are comfortable, it’s not filthy, but it’s not very clean, air works well, and breakfast runs out before it’s over. Conveniently located by several fast food restaurants, CVS, a gas station, and it’s a straight shot to Holiday World with a short drive.
