“We enjoyed spending New Years at Lake Sutherland! There is a lot to do nearby even in the winter, and the house is lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and watching the fog roll in and out of the lake. The house is very well outfitted and was great for two couples. We all thought the beds were comfortable, too. “This was a stellar property well appointed, cozy bedding, well stocked and labeled kitchen, cordless charging in each bedroom, and heated floors. Easy 10 minute drive to downtown Port Angeles. On clear days there are beautiful distant views of the water. The surrounding garden on the property made it feel like a woodland fairytale. Diana was a responsive host. Don’t hesitate to book it!”

“Love this little house in the woods! Great size, close to the water, beautiful windows for looking at the trees, and a few miles off the main drag so it's super quiet. Only thing was that my partner had a really strong allergic reaction to the bedroom, to the point where we slept on the pull out couch. I'd assume there's some mold in the corner wall that should be addressed. Pull out couch was quite comfy. I'd also suggest getting some fire tools for the wood burning stove - a log poker would go...

“Eagles nest was amazing. The view couldn’t be better and the cabin was perfect for my fiancé and I. Even though it is located off the highway, the vehicle noise was drowned out by the beautiful mountainside and lake. We had a sedan so we didn’t feel comfortable going down the hill with it however there was parking above that worked great. The property is central to several parks and amenities. Would stay again.”

With easy access to Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge and the Olympic National Park it made the location of Lynn and Scott’s place perfect. Well we loved it so much we ended up booking it for an additional 2 nights! This place is amazing! So quiet and peaceful and perfect! The bus was cozy and clean and we had the best time staying here. “This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We stayed here at the suggestion of friends and it was just lovely. The cabin has several little touches that made it a perfect place for our little family. I am glad we went to the cabin before purchasing groceries so we could see what was already there. Our one 'not so great' thing was how close the cabin is to the highway. We did hear cars early in the morning, so it's not quite as secluded as we thought. Don't let that deter you from staying....

“Our family of 5 stayed in this cabin. The kitchen and bathrooms was convenient and clean. The bedding was clean and comfy. We ate outside on the picnic table because there is no dining area. (Not a problem because the view was lovely and the weather was nice.) No Mosquitos. Firepit was nice to have and we used it nightly to make smores. Great place!!”
