"This is a nice, lakefront property, exactly as described in the profile. It does require climbing a number of stairs to get both to the main property and then down to the lake. But there’s plenty of space on the main floor, and three comfortable bedrooms on the lower floor."

There were a couple of days that we didn't even leave the property. The mosquitos were horribly, horribly bad! We wanted a place that was located in a beautiful setting so that we can relax, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of Lake George and beyond and this location fit the bill. The owner and staff were easily accessable when we had a question. Really enjoyed this place....it was reminiscent of our long since sold childhood Adirondack cottage! "Very cute cozy and comfortable spot! Close to Lane George but also secluded enough to enjoy! We stayed for Columbus day weekend and it was definitely the end of the season. The pool area looked fun and welcoming but was closed already (which is ok it was too cold anyways). We were one of few people on the property and felt like it was very dark and not maintained but with our flashlights we were fine. The cabin was clean comfy and cozy we popped the breaker a few times turning heaters on but...

"The cabin was perfect venue for our stay at Gore Mountain. The home was extremely clean with no detail left unturned, including gift baskets in the bathrooms and complementary wine for new visitors. The property was just private enough and perfect for our furry baby who enjoyed the woods every day. "My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! "We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. It was well kept, clean and organized. It felt peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is to add to the listing that though pets are welcome they aren't allowed to be left unattended in the cabin. This is certainly understandable since some people don't train their pets. However, not being able to do so limited what we could do on a few days. Also listing a puppy day care in the welcome binder as an option for days renters would like to venture...

"We absolutely loved this little cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). We were in Saratoga for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place to relax in between games and overnight. The hosts were amazing, left us the nicest welcome basket and equipped the cabin with everything we would need (flashlights, wood for the fire, coffee K-cups). We will definitely use this property again if in the area!"

"My family and some friends stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding down the street at Juniper Springs Barn. The cabin was in great condition and exactly as listed. There were lots of bedrooms for all the adults and kids and two large family rooms for relaxing space for everyone. Each night we enjoyed cocktails in the enclosed porch while the kids fell asleep. We were worried that the house would be hot in the summer but the owners provided many AC units and fans which kept the home...

The bedrooms had a lot of space, the beds were very comfortable, and the furnishings were very retro, but stately (I love retro style!). Lots of sunshine from the windows. Kitchen is small, but adequate. The front porch was very nice and relaxing - I wish I could’ve enjoyed it longer. I really have no complaints except that I didn’t book a longer stay! I would love to come back to it and stay longer!"
