History all around us! This bridge may not look like much, but it has quite the history. Completed in September of 1869 it spanned the San Joaquin river and officially connected Oakland, CA to Sacramento, CA completing a critical section of the Transcontinental Railroad, four months after the historic meeting at Promontory Point in Utah. It wasn't until a bridge was completed in 1873 across the Missouri River connecting Council Bluffs and Omaha that the country would be truly linked by Railroad!

"Upon check in at this property, there were signs of a cockroach infestation and a live cockroach was seen in the kitchen. The apartment also was not clean. I chose not to stay at the property due to concerns over safety and cleanliness and the "owner" Jasmine only refunded a portion of the rental fee. "The apartment is so nice and welcoming and had so many little touches like snacks and personal hand written notes that set this property over the top. the owner definitely went above and beyond to make it such a great place to stay.the location is close to dinning ,shopping, and basically anything you'll need for u stay ."

"The post promised gated parking which was not the case. Upon arriving, I had to reach out to the host to see where to park as the posting showed actual parking stals. I was told to park out between the first gate or out on the street which was quite a walk to the actual room. We received no check in information AT ALL, so after having to ask a lady on the premisis where to go I had to reach out to the host another time for the room info. "The property is located just a few blocks from a quaint little “Village” of shops. They often set up love music and other local events. Thaddeus, the owner, is an amazing host and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He keeps the property clean and in pristine condition at all times.
