“My extended family and friends had a just wonderful month with Ed and Julie. Ed and Julie are superb hosts and The Blue Heron house is very welcoming with comfortable space for the whole family. We had so much fun with the boats and swimming in the St Lawrence and so much enjoyed this Frontenac Arch region. We took many exploring day trips to surrounding towns and the Rideau Canal. I can not recommend this home and hosts enough.”

“Location and Island was Fantastic. Cottage needs deep cleaning, windows, bathrooms...some paint and a bit of renovations. Too many dishes, coffee makers, didn't leave much space for our groceries, etc...but, all that said we had a great vacation on the Island. Thanks.”

“To be fair when we arrived, it was a plus 32 day. But we arrived late in the afternoon and the cabin was all closed up.We knew about having no air conditoning.. but we atleast expected the windows to be open or fans to be on. It was a litteral sweat lodge. We had 2 very young kids with us and after an hour in the cabin with all the small windows open and doors and fans.. it was still too hot so we opted for a hotel and ate the cost.
