“What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan. Mark recommended a local pub for a drink in the evening and there was some live music going on. Karen even gave us some pastries to enjoy on……

“Room was superb, we were upgraded to room 7 which was really a suite, with large windows overlooking Cardigan Bay. Two cocktails for £10 was fantastic start to stay. Disabled parking (and normal parking) on road directly outside. Restrictions apply but not after 30/09.The real bonus for this hotel was the service and friendliness of every member of staff.”

"The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
