“We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker. ”

“VERY GOOD SERVICES”

“It's right next to a beautiful rushing creek, with a lovely field across it. There is a view of the local ruins. The garden and common/dining area are beautiful as well. The hosts are friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. If you don't like white noise, the sound of the creek may not be for you, I enjoyed it. The description advertises down comforters and pillow selections, but that's not the case. We were cold, so we asked, and they provided a space heater, which……

“One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away……

“The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay.”

“This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. “There are very few places that can truly be rated 5 star. For us, five star means, beautiful grounds, peaceful, clean, and safe location, and helpful staff. During our stay, Kuychi Rumi earned this highest rated due to the fantastic rooms, room service, and their prompt manager Johan. He went above and beyond his call of duty to make sure we felt at home. After all, how often do you get your refrigerator stocked the previous night just because you have to leave at 5 am the next morning? Most……
