“I stay here whenever in Kirksville. It’s a good hotel and I especially like the Costa Coffee in the lobby. I think, however, the breakfast needs some help. Both times we went for breakfast - first time late, around 9:10am and the second time early, around 7:45am - the eggs had burnt bits and the oatmeal was like paste. Also, the toaster was anemic. I tried to toast an English muffin and three times pushing it down produced no color and little warmth. The butter didn’t even melt.”

“The room was humid even though the AC ran 24/7--and it was so loud we had to turn the tv up too much just to hear it. Hard to sleep, too. Couldn't reset alarm clock which was 5 hours off anyway. Not a stitch of food/drinks vending machines available other than breakfast buffet (not impressive) which ran out early and not refilled in a timely manner. We had to leave for the day so missed breakfast even though it was to be going for another hour yet. No vending machines or snacks available for……

“Air was off in the room when I arrived with a heat index of 100+F. It took 2 hours to get the temperature down enough to sleep. The ac unit was loud and very dirty and ran non-stop all night. Very old everything. No elevator. Stairs hadn’t been vacuumed in who knows how long.”

“My wife went to the front desk to get an additional pillow. Sign said to call for assistance. After 10 minutes no one came. We also found a cockroach and a centipede in the room. We will not be staying here again.”

“I turned into the parking lot of your hotel and I felt this was not the right hotel for my family. The parking lot and outside was not appealing. So we did not stay. Assuming you are a family owned business you need to improve the outside as I did not even wish to look inside to see your rooms. We stayed at Super 8 next store to your hotel. The outside of the super 8 is neat, clean and new looking. The inside rooms of Super 8 was very appealing. Not great but a good place for me to take my……
