"Villa La Corte is an excellent place to stay when visiting Lake Como. The house is spacious, has all mod cons, and felt like a real home from home. The owner, Claudia, was fantastic to work with, giving us all the details of the house in advance, which made everything really easy when we arrived. Claudia could not have been nicer or more helpful and the pizzas on arrival were as welcome as they have been in several other reviews! Even though it was October, the pool was still well used, although a little 'bracing' on first entry! The gardens are lovely and the views all around the house inspired serenity.. Colico was a good base for trips to other villages around the lake, and the ferry service on the lake made this very easy without having to drive. An excellent holiday, and for anyone wanting to visit the area, we would recommend Villa La Corte as a great place to stay."
