"Five star hotel at a three star price. Everything about the Mona was superb. Directions to the hotel were clear. It’s a short walk from the rail station, right on the Montreux lake walk, and 5 minutes from the ferry landing. Staff was very helpful, helped us with our luggage and provided tips and information. They provided a room upgrade without us asking or knowing.
The room was very large with ample space. The view was magnificent with a large, amazing balcony. The minibar was stocked and all complimentary. The hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Mona had unlimited coffee drinks in the lobby, so we ended the night with a hot chocolate and latte on our balcony.
My only regret is I didn’t book another night or two. Next time.

"Very convenient location with just a few minutes walking to the train station via the platform #1. While the rail road is next to the hotel it is surprisingly very quiet inside. Breakfast was somewhat disappointed, tasteless. It was nice that the hotel offered the city pass, that was very convenient for using a public transportation completely free! We would stay there again."
"This hotel welcomes you with a luxurious old world feel!! So close to the train station (literally across the street …) and right on the lake. It was easy to walk along the promenade and take public transportation to different nearby villages. The room was super clean and had a beautiful view of lake Geneva. The little balcony with table and chairs and Nespresso machine in the room was the icing on the cake :). Breakfast had a nice variety which included healthy options as well. What stood out the most was the concierge and staff that worked at the hotel. They were super helpful in finding and recommending things to do to make the most of the stay, even calling ahead ro a nearby vineyard to make sure they had space for us for a last minute tasting. Then helping us with the trains there and back. Overall we can’t recommend this hotel enough and would stay here again!"
"This was a nice sized room with a comfy king sized bed. The building itself is historic, but the rooms are updated and modern with hard surface flooring. We were on the third floor and had a nice balcony that looked over the lake.
Lots of shopping and dining options near the hotel. Easy to grab transit or Taxi/Uber as well.
We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Montreaux.
