"Nice and clean with ample car parking and good shower, a great location too positioned close to the beach and restaurants. My only feedback is the room felt abit dark as it lacked sunlight but other than this it was a great stay."

It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy. "We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again.
The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite.
Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly!

"The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing."

"We had a lovely stay in riverside cottage.Andrea was a great host full of information and always answers any messages promptly. The cottage is located in a fabulous location. 10 min walk to the estuary through a forest. Just stunning. Sitting having my morning coffee outside by the river every morning was heaven. The cottage itself is a small, but cosy old building with and thick stone walls full of character. The front room is a lovely room to relax after a long day walking and the bed is very comfy. Kitchen and bathroom are a little older in style but exactly as the photos and perfectly fine. We cooked every day and had all the amenities.Lots of birds and wildlife all around. And if you love jets and planes the Mach loop is 15 mins away. Would stay again."

The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!"
