Only complaint is the air conditioner is in the window and blows directly at the person sleeping on that side of the bed, makes for a freezing night. The little vet barely moves to direct the air elsewhere. I can’t recommend Banff enough. The Caribou Lodge was good overall. The Keg in the Lodge was amazing. Unfortunately the suite, for which we paid extra, had several maintenance deficiencies that soured our experience. Upon checkout, the staff didn’t bother to ask about our experience or I would have let them know our concerns. Will likely stay elsewhere on our next visit. The Alpine King was perfect for our needs. The only thing we didnt know when we booked our stay is that all hotel amenities were closed due to renovation. We were expecting to enjoy Spa, pool, hot tub and restaurant/ room service but we were told at check in that we had to use other hotels amenities nearby. I would have definitely booked somewhere else if I have had known that. There were other unhappy customers at front desk also when we checked in.
