“The HOST wouldn't give the location until 2 hrs before check in & refused cancel as actual location unknown until arrival. Bad or late communication via app. Apartment wasn’t the 1 shown in listing. Location was 1/2 mile plus from listing map or listed address. Key was in lockbox around corner attached to NYC parking sign. 2nd story walkup over restaurants. Bathroom is old,w/ heavily mildewed shower,cracked tiles, chipped peeling paint & brown hole above tub. Disgusting soap dispenser.2 pipes in……

“This was an unregistered listing in violation of New York Law. Both the property management team and VRBO are violating the law. Neighbors informed us they would be calling the police. In addition the apartment door was plastered with violation notices. The external door key also was not functioning. I have asked for a refund. Terrible experience.”

“The studio apartment was fabulous and just what we wanted. It’s in a quiet, suburban part of New Jersey, with a bus just down the road that runs regularly into New York. Facilities were fantastic. Although a studio, the layout means there is plenty of room. Great shower and comfy bed. Highly recommend.”

“The host was very helpful with check in and check out and offering suggestions for a good breakfast place. The unit was very cozy and charming, more than enough space for the 2 of us. The neighborhood is nice and not far from MTA stop and many shops and variety of restaurants. ”

“The place is very nice and clean, the location is central and check in was very smooth. Host sent a very well detailed instructions.The only thing is that- if you are planning to cook at home- the kitchenette it is not really great and look like nobodies used in a very long time. If you have a big truck, it will not fit in the parking spot. I have a minivan and barely fitted without blocking the garage. Overalls 5 stars and i would book again 9f i meed to stay in the area.”
