“Great location for walks and outdoor activities. 10 minute drive to Seward. The property has everything you need for a great stay. Would had preferred a room first second floor. Perhaps next time. ”

“Yes, the room was small but comfortable. Very safe and quiet. Complementary coffee, tea, or cocoa at the restaurant. It is not the Hilton but was perfect as a kick off to Seward (about a 30 minute drive). We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and supper and both meals were delicious. I would stay here again-the sheets were clean and the water was hot! I do not need much else.”

“We couldn’t stay because the owner never gave us the room key and was impossible to contact her. We had to book a last minute alternative hotel”

“Excellent room. Pleasant. Good value. Probably would not recommend the Salmon Bake restaurant next-door, however. There are better restaurants in Seward.”

“Summit Lake Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful grounds and a pristine Lake. It is so clear you can see through to the bottom and it offers free kayaking! The rooms are very updated but with a rustic feel. The staff is wonderful! It is a family-owned in operated place and it feels very welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! It is a full breakfast”

“Sarah was terrific to work with. I received information on things to do in the area and even was able to extend my stay for a day due to booking a boat tour and zip line adventures. The house is very welcoming, cozy, clean and well stocked with essentials. The wood interior, decor, and warmth that the cabin has to offer made our family vacation even more enjoyable. We wished we could have stayed longer but will try and return soon. This is a real gem of a find and located very close to town.”
