“We booked this VRBO months ago and the reservation process, communications with the host, check in, description of property, couldn't have been easier/better. Location, location, location!!!! Lindsey's place is only a 15–25-minute drive from the airport, downtown Anchorage, hiking, etc. She was very informative, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. We also didn't have the hassle of a hotel lobby or the crowds. Our Bucket List vacation to Anchorage was complimented by staying at this...

“The VRBO had strong cleaner smell when we opened the door. Made my eyes water after opening windows for a few minutes it was fine. If you need to reach Corbin during your visit hopefully he responds. We never heard back from him during our stay. Luckily it wasn’t an emergency. There was only one cereal spoon and no dish towel or dishcloth. I dropped something under the bed and noticed it needed a little attention.”

“First the wonderful. The Condo was super clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect easy to get down town and several options for walking. Not wonderful. The published description did include that the condo was a three story walk up. However, it was fairly deep in the description. For two people in there upper 70’s with heavy luggage, it was a challenge. I know it is on me for not reading carefully, but I think that fact needs to be more prominent in the description.”

“This was a great place to stay. Very clean. The place isn’t super fancy, but the owners had several little touches that we appreciated (nice soap/shampoo, games, books, snacks, coffee, and even an umbrella available for us to use). The blackout blinds were great in the bedroom, which is a must this time of year in Alaska. The neighborhood was quiet. I do recommend having a rental car, since there’s not much to do within walking distance, but it’s a very short drive to the airport or to downtown.”

“The inside of the property is amazing. Very comfortable. Host is great as well, but tends to communicate through the VRBO app so best to have that. The grill(s) were not functioning and I believe there is a misunderstanding on what a hot tub is. There certainly is no hot tub/spa. There is a tub. External is less attractive. I will say at this price point it is far above others. Some supplies such as soap, shampoo, and food condiments were lacking. Would likely be better as the travel...
