Very Unprofessional
A week before our stay we were notified that the owners wanted to stay instead, and we needed to relocate. Maybe this is a normal thing, but I was not prepared. I already request off work, got stuff packed, and was not prepared to plan to stay somewhere else. I picked this place based on location and convenience for me and my family. I booked this place over 3 months ago. I know how it is to try to find a place at the last minute at the beach, u get what’s left or pay much more. I felt this was very unprofessional of the owners to do to someone. It would’ve made more sense for them to tell me months ahead so we could plan to stay somewhere else. VRBO offered us another place on-site or some other properties (not at North Myrtle or far from convenience or beach access), so we stayed at the other property on-site. Sadly, the other property wasn’t very updated or clean, even though it was “newly renovated” it had mold around the shower, no ice maker, and sand in chairs. However, the place we stayed at was in a better location in the building than this one. This one is in a dark hallway that smells bad. The only good thing about this place is the location.
