The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!”

“Really homey and clean, love the cottage feel and quietness. There’s no restaurant around and the closest grocery store is about 20 min walk next to Naka-Furano Station, so we did cook a lot. Other families also BBQ. I wish there were a bit more kitchen supplies but we managed just fine. ”

“This house is 20 minutes outside furano so set in farmland with lots of lovely fields around it the inside is lovely with all the mod cons and 4, bedrooms it's perfect for a summer getaway as long as you have rented a car. Our family loved staying here ”
