* This is a heated space in winter - Pellet Stove This is a tale of the vanlife.
The goal was to explore south America to open an inn. We moved south, one day at a time, while building the bus.
Then "The Event" happened. So all border closed. We stayed 6 months in the U.S forests, then had to come home (visa)
Then we bought this inn. The bus was used to house the mother in law (who longed for the vanlife). She stripped it and made it her own.
Then she moved away, and it is once again being stripped and redone.
The bus is unfinished. The insulation is still visible at some spots and we have some finishing touches to make.
You have access to the inn. - All common spaces : Hot Tub, Sunroom, Living Room, Showers and Bathrooms, Kitchen and Dining Room. However in the event that the whole inn was booked by a single group (it happens) , you will be reimbursed 20% as you won'T have access.
The bus is winterized (insulated and with a pellet stove) We furnish the pellets. If you want to bring pellets however, we will buy the bag from you (it saves us a trip to the store after all)
No running water during the winter because we don't heat when the space is not rented, but you have lots of water in the inn and provide a gallon of water.
In summer, you have your own terrasse.
You have two screens, one of which extends on a wall mounted arm to watch movies. HDMI connexion.
You have wifi, approx 150 MBPS. It is optical fibre relayed through Orbi's mesh routing.
You have access to all the inn, all the gardens and exterior spaces. All but other guest's rooms in fact.
You may socialize or keep your bubble. We have a TON of board games.
please use the inn's bathrooms as much as possible because the bus' bathroom basically is a bucket with wood rip. Not our favourite thing to handle.
