We had a family vacation with 15 people who stayed and it was wonderful. The owner was an excellent communicator and was very responsive to anything we needed. Close to the beach and with a pool, both a huge hit. Plenty of space for everyone to get some time to themselves and to gather as a whole family. Most enjoyable and would recommend this home.

Beautiful and roomy

We just got back from a week staying at this beautiful home with so much space. Enough room that we could spread out and have some down time but big enough for my family time. The pool and pool area was perfect for my grandchildren and adult children to enjoy. Not a long walk from the beach at all. We all loved it and the memories that were created

Not up to standards

Review of MB House: There were serious issues with cleanliness of the overall place. The outside area is dirty, except the immediate area around the pool. The area under the deck / the "outdoor bar area" and outdoor The back deck upstairs needs replaced -- the screws are backing out and boards are splintering. The outdoor table was never wiped down by the cleaning crew and we had to purchase a table cloth to make it usable. We noticed circulation issues upon our arrival and checked the central air filters -- both were gross. The worst were the floors inside the house. We ended up having to wear shoes inside as our feet were black in 15 mins. There were also various lights throughout the house that had blown bulbs, didn't work, etc. The kitchen utensils were visibly dirty and had to all be hand-washed prior to us using them. There were tons of mosquitos in the outside area and made it unusable without bathing in bug spray. It would be helpful to remove the mountain of old inflatables, etc. under the steps to potentially address the standing water / mosquito issue. On Day 2, 3 of 4 small children began having allergic reactions after utilizing the swimming pool one time. The worst of the 4 was taken to Urgent Care. Following our Urgent Care visit, the diagnosis was relating to the high levels of chlorine (chemical burn) as kids are most sensitive to this issue. The host indicated that they tested the pool and it was fine. Overall, not an ideal stay.

Loved the beach. Not the house.

Floors were dirty when we got there. Carpets need replaced. Couldn’t use oven because when we turned it on it was so dirty the smoke rolled out. We prewashed every dish and silverware and pans before we used it. Bathroom showers had mold on sliding doors. The grill outside my husband had to clean it was disgusting it was so dirty. The refrigerator ice maker worked but every time you opened the door it would fall out because it was broke. We contacted the owner and he wanted to send a cleaning crew and a refrigerator repair person over but everything that needed done needed to be done when no one occupied the house. So we made the best of it. We paid a lot of money for this house and feel we didn’t get what we paid for. The house could be so beautiful but even the outside didn’t look like the pictures we saw onVRBO. It was over grown bushes in the front and the gutters had trees growing out of them. There were cigarettes butts left in a can on the patio that smelled so bad. We have gone thru VRBO before and always been happy. But not this time. We had our kids and grandkids with us so couldn’t go anywhere else so we made the best of it. Not happy

Big fun house

We had a awesome time making memories with the family. Everything went great. The refreshing dip in the pool was great as well as the grill to cook a couple nights. The kitchen and dining area were great too. Convenient walk to beach. Really great neighborhood. The only minor hiccup was the mosquitos are pretty bad in the evenings so maybe bring repellent. Other than that it couldn’t have been better. We would definitely recommend and would book again.

Great place!

Great location, close to the beach and attractions/restaurants. The neighbors we talked to were very friendly. The kids had a blast in the pool. Damion was very quick to respond any time I had a question. We'd definitely stay again. And the beds were comfortable!

Great home for lots of people

The process to rent was simple and easy. The owner was quick to respond to questions before and during the trip. There wasn’t really a view of the ocean but it was very close and it wasn’t very crowded! The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the patio! Souvenir shopping, pharmacy, restaurants, and putt putt were also within walking distance. Walmart, outlet mall, and Barefoot Landing were very short drives. We enjoyed ourselves and would return!
